Chapter 33

Today is the day.
Today we get married.
We become one.
Always and forever.

I walk round my hotel bed and stand on the balcony. I overlook acres of beautiful greenery in the south of France.

The air is so clear and so fresh. I never want to leave.

In just over 6 hours I'll be getting married to the person I love the most in this world.

I take in a breath that feels unlimited. "Ahhhhhh!!!" My mum squeals. I jump and clutch my chest.

"My little girl is getting married todayyyyyyy!!!" She exclaims. "You scared me." I laugh.

"Sorry hunny, I'm just excited." She hugs me. Lottie wakes up from the bed besides me. "Mum." She groans.

Lottie is not a morning person at all. There's a knock at the door and my mum answers it. It's my maid of honour and my first bridesmaid.

My first bridesmaid is the first person I hired at my cafe, Tilly. We have become so close, it's been so nice. "Happy wedding day!" She beams hugging me.

"Thank you." I squeal a little. Bethany walks in and pulls me into the biggest hug. "I can't believe you are getting marrieddddd!!" She squeals as well.

"My sister in law." She nudges my shoulder. I smile from ear to ear. "Come on Lots." I drag her out of bed. She smiles and jumps on my back.

"It's so excited." She says as she relaxes her head on my shoulder. I chuck her off my back onto the bed. "You are not going to sleep on my back like you used to." I laugh.

"I'm tired." She laughs as she throws a pillow at me.

I catch it and throw it back. "Right we need to start getting ready." My mum claps her hands.

The entire process of getting ready was so long but the playlist Bethany made, made it great.

Evangeline is my flower girl. She looks so pretty.

I can't believe how fast she is growing up. She reminds me of young Lottie lulu so much.

My Lottie is all grown up. She's in a big girl dress, but to me she is still 7.
