4 years have passed. It has all gone so quick. I would do anything to have our babies, babies for a little longer.

Today they start kindergarten. I'm not ready.

They are currently sat at the table with Noah as they eat their porridge.

I can hear the giggles in the distance as I get their packed lunches ready.

I'm finding it all really emotional. Our babies will be five next year. How...

As I zip up their bags, I turn to fill up their drinks bottles. I see Noah in the doorway. "The kids are off to get ready." Noah smiles.

Being a dad is literally what he was destined to do. Iris and Elliot love him with everything they have, just like I do.

"I want them to stop growing." I pout my bottom lip trying not to cry. "I know." Noah says softly in agreement.

I keep myself busy making sure they have everything they need. "Take a minute." Noah says as he pulls me into his arms. I wrap my arms around him and we sway together.

"They will be absolutely fine." Noah reassures me. "I know." I say quietly.

They aren't at a private school. We want them to be in a public school like we were, and if it doesn't work out then we'll go private from there. The paparazzi are more bothered about Noah thankfully. Not our kids.

The sound of little feet running down the stairs makes us turn around to face the doorway.

They are both stood there dressed but not completely neat. Me and Noah share a chuckle before walking to them. I straighten out Iris' dress and fix her hair, whilst Noah straightens Elliot's uniform and hair.

They are so cute.

"Are you ready." I say excitedly to get them in the spirit. "Yesss!!" They both grin. I pull them both in for a big hug. Noah wraps his arms around us all.

We stay like that for a few seconds. "Come on!!" Iris shouts before running to the front door.

I grab their bags and follow them out to the car. Noah locks up.

They both jump into their car seats and I fasten cupcake in, as Noah fastens peanut in.

Noah still holds the promise of opening my door. Once I'm sat in the passenger seat, he shuts the door and walks round to the drivers side.

"Let's go." Noah smiles as he starts the car.

The drive to the school felt like 2 minutes. When you don't want something to happen, it takes 2 seconds for the entire thing to flash before your eyes.

But, when you desperately want something it takes 2 decades.

Noah parks the car and we get our cupcake and peanut out the car. I hand them their bags and we all walk into the school grounds.

Iris can't wait to get there as she skips a little ahead. I notice that Elliot is getting more nervous the more he gets closer to the school.

We find their classes and Iris jumps into a hug from me and Noah.

"Bye mummy, bye daddy." She beams as she blows a cute kiss. She is so excited to start school. She skips up to her classroom and her teacher welcomes her in.
