[Yeonjun POV]

He was standing in the opposite direction of the street from me, looking here and there to find someone.

"You didn't complete your sentence? What happened??" Kai's voice rang out of the phone but my attention was only on the man standing a few metres away from me.

[A/n: Author just wants to say, she's dead because of the beauty of this man because WTF HOW CAN SOMEONE LOOK SO HOT AND MAJESTIC IN A WHITE SHIRT?!?!]

He is wearing just a simple white shirt which was tucked half into his blue denim jeans and I am losing my cool here. His dark-brown hair makes me want to run my hands through them. He hasn't noticed me yet.

"Hey hyung are you there?" Kai's voice brought me back from my la la land.

"He is here." I replied to him. My breath hitched when his eyes met mine. He smiled and started trudging towards me.

"He? Who?" Kao questioned and I didn't bother to answer. That's not necessary now, not more than the man coming in my way.

"Ohhh are you talking about Gyu? Yess I called him-" I didn't pay attention to anything Kai was saying from the other line, the phone was still in my hand, still placed near my ear, but my hearing was betraying me, as my vision was in full focus on the beautiful man standing in front of me. I eventually hung up on Kai.

"Sunshine!!" He exclaimed as if finally found the sunray he was looking for after many hardships.

I was about to say something when the voice of the door opening came from behind my back. SHIT. SHIT.

"Why are you standing in the road for the last 10 mins?" A very irritating voice of Kelly Anne chirped in my ears.

I turned to look at her and I was about to say something when my mother's figure emerged from behind.
"Finally you are here. Let her come inside Kelly, then we can talk." My mother said to which, Kelly Anne, my dear cousin, Note the Sarcasm;  made a face but went in leaving us alone. It's now me, my mother and him.

"Hi mom." I greeted her. He is still here and I have to talk with  him about what he is doing here.

"Hey, come inside." She replied looking at the man beside me. She gave me a look that said- "better explain all this." I waved at him and mouthed "Will see you later!"

Instead of leaving, he shook his head, went ahead of me and stood in front of my mom.

What the hell are you going to do, you stupidly handsome man??

"Hello ma'am. It's nice to meet you." He greeted my mom and even kissed her knuckles.

"Thanks young man but who are you?" She was looking at him but the question was for me, I know.

Again that man didn't let me say anything.
"Ohhh, I forgot to introduce myself. I am your Son's colleague." He deliberately stretched that.
"-and I like him. So yes I am his date partner for today."  He said the last part while looking into my eyes.

WHAT DID HE JUST SAY? HE LIKES ME. HE FUCKING LIKES ME? WHAT?

I closed the door behind me and showed him the way to the living room, coming out of my primary shock. I will talk about this with him later. You better have a good reason if this a joke, Choi Beomgyu, or I'm killing you for making a silly hope bloom inside my chest.

Kellyanne and a man were sitting on the couch, let me mention, they are so close. I guess Mom already walked into the Kitchen and Aunt Ellen must be there.

"Ohhh Hey Yeonjun! I didn't think you would bring any dates." She extra sweetly expressed her unwanted thoughts.

"To be honest, I really doubted that you would ever get a man. Hope he doesn't run away soon." She again commented with a giggle and I wanted to punch her face so badly, but again. Yeonjun, calm down, ignore her as much as you can. You can do it!

"Well Hi there, I don't know what you saw in him, but yeah you got some real patience to handle him." Enough, that's it. I am not sparing her anymore. I was about to say something which would make her shut up, but Beomgyu beat me to it.

"I saw many things and all of them made me like him more and more. And about handling him, then I don't have to do that because he is independent and capable of handling himself smoothly, but if he ever needs me then I'll always be there for him." He said all that with confidence and sincerity. I was looking at him when he was speaking and while saying the last line he looked at me, that made me blush. What is wrong with me? Just some stupid words? Okay not stupid but still! How is this man so good with words?

"Woah man!! That was so..amazing." That man, probably Kellyanne's boyfriend said.

Kellyanne's face is worth watching.

"Thanks." Bemogyu scratched the back of his neck shyly. That's the Beom bear I know!

"Hello Yeonjun." Aunt Ellen greeted me, coming out from the kitchen.

"Hii, Aunt Ellen." I greeted back with a small smile.

"I thought you won't come. Last time didn't go well." She mumbled.

Yeah of course it didn't, last time your daughter MISTAKENLY spilled the soup on me and not to forget you proposed a marriage proposal for me, ahhhh that man let's not say anything about him. Glad I rejected that proposal though.

"Why wouldn't I? I can't miss the chance of spending time with my FAMILY." I emphasised that family part purposely. We are anything but a family.

"Yeah, anyways dear,  I missed you. Won't you introduce me to the young man beside you?" She said and stood in front of us, changing the topic.

"He is Choi bemogyu, my-"
He cut me off "–his boyfriend" and my eyes became wide.

When did that happen? When did the time skip happen? When did he propose to me? Am I missing something?

"Nice! You guys make a beautiful couple." She congratulated us but I know these are just formalities.

"Thank you." He replied on behalf of us.
