You're doing things we knew you could do
You've always stayed true
And you've graduated
Moving on to things that are better in life
And we thank for your time
But it still makes us want to cry
We don't want to say goodbye
We wish that this wasn't real life
But sometimes when I look at you
I see myself through and through
From your personality to your smile
I know I might be lonely for a little while
But I think that I'll be okay
And sometimes I think of all the times
That you inspired me to take what's mine
And I know that this won't be our last cry
But I wish that we still had some more time
But I think that I'll be okay
I wanna thank you
You've kept me high above the ground
Not letting anybody bring me down
That's what you do
And you've taken me places
In my mind you helped me find the happy
But now that you're going I feel lonely
But I know that I can get through
But it still makes us feel so sad
And we don't want to make you feel bad
Because that will make us hurt
You are our entire world
And anytime that I see you
I think of myself in your shoes too
And how you carried us through
I know that it's okay to be sad too
And I think that I'll be okay
But sometimes I just don't want to say goodbye
Who is going to help me with my thoughts this time
And I should know that we'll be fine
But sometimes I wish that things didn't change in time
But I think that I'll be okay
What if nothing ever really happened
What if we still have some time before it's flattened
And what if this doesn't make us sad and
We get to cherish what we had
But what if yesterday could be our today
Where we don't go our separate ways
Where our tears don't come out and run away
What if we could just have another day
And every time that I look at a picture of you
I can see the memories flooding through
I can feel every moment where I had fun with you
And then my sky will become a brighter blue
And I know that I'll be okay
And every time that I think of you
I can feel the happiness in my veins seeping through
Because I know that my greatest moments had you
And I know that anything I do you'll be proud too
And I know that I'll be okay
