Last year I went home for my birthday, but this year I decided to stay here and celebrate. I didn't know the guys and I'd just met the girls, so it was a little awkward to stay at school, but this year I wanted to be with my friends.

"Being this is your first party with us we decided to get you two gifts each." Mercedes said. And each person sat two gifts in front of me. Overwhelmed I could say nothing, I felt so special that they thought enough about me to do this for me.

It's now October and the leaves are falling and it's getting cooler by the day. The week after my birthday we all decide to go hiking in the mountains to spend time together. It's been months since we were all in the same place at the same time.

"Do we have all the coolers packed and ready to go?"

"Yeah, and I have the ones from the restaurant too, Maverick called and had one of the servers bring them over."

"Thanks Mel, and tell your mom and dad thanks too."

Hearing a knock at the door I go to open it and it's Sydney, Flex, Leslie and Tierra.

"Hey Janell thanks for the invite I asked Leslie and her daughter Tierra to came as well."

"Hey it's so good to see you again. I say as I hug Leslie and Tierra. I met them while helping Flex with Sydney. She's really cool and I think she's perfect for Flex, but hey that's not my business."

"I hope we are not intruding, when Flex asked us to come along I was a little hesitant. But now that we are here I'm really excited, do you need any help."

Walking Leslie, Flex, and the kids into the kitchen we began to pack bottles of water, juice, and Gatorade on ice. We were to meet Melanie, Donavan, Avery, Bishop, and Brian at the mountain base. Everyone else were riding and following each other to the site.

After packing and repacking the trucks we were ready to go. After an 3 hour ride we were at our destination. I was so excited for the whole group to be together and have a day of fun.

"Hey where's Brian I thought he was going to come." I said.

"I talked to him last night he said that he had been out of town, but that he would meet us here." Avery said.

While waiting for Brian we all packed our backpacks with the essentials we needed for the hike. We brought three rolling coolers, and extra blankets just in case.

"Hey I bought 2 sets of walkie talkies, I know we have cells but sometimes in the mountains they don't work so well." Maverick said.

After 30 minutes another car pulled up and then another. Brian stepped out and looked very angry and upset. Walking around to the passenger door he opened it, and to everyones surprise Brooklyn gets out. The second car door opened and out stepped William.

"Are you kidding me right now!" I heard Avery say.

"Actually, no I'm here in the flesh! and I can see that you are as well Avery." William said with so much contempt in his voice.

"Who invited this guy."Bishop said.

All eyes turned to Brian. "Hey don't look at me he invited himself from what Brooklyn told me. I guess he over heard she was coming with me and he followed."

"It a free country and I can come and go as I please and besides I wanted to see my fiancé, where is she by the way." William said.

Looking around we didn't see Mercedes. "She and Leslie took the girls to the bathroom." Tracy said.
