The pajama party...
Maverick...
Once everyone had all the blankets, pillows, sleeping bags and blowup mattresses all around we decided to play hide and seek in the dark. I know it's a kid game, but it was the best fun ever! The space was wide and opened, but there were other rooms on the bottom floor it was girls verses boy.

After 30 minutes of playing we were all worn out so we decided to play truth or dare. I never liked this game, so here we are at 1:30 in the morning playing.

"Brian, you go first," I say.

"Okay, Brooklyn truth or dare,"Brian ask.

"Truth", she responds.

"Who would you go out on a date with out of the six guys".

Looking around the room, I can tell that she is embarrassed, but to our surprise she answers, "you, Brian, I would go out with you." Brain looked shocked, surprised and even hopeful.

"Okay Donavan your turn".

"Avery, truth or dare."

"Truth,"Avery answers.

"Do you have a relationship with Mercedes?" He asked.

Looking around the room Avery looks at Mercedes, "it's complicated" he said.

"Nope not an answer," Donavan said.

"No! I don't have a relationship with Mercedes, but I want one," Avery said.

"Avery, you already..." Cut her off Avery answers, " yes Sade I know, I just answered the question truthfully."

"Okay my turn, Donavan truth or Dare?"

"Truth, Maverick I don't trust you, you would have me do something stupid."

"Okay, why did you marry my sister."

"Maverick, don't do this okay, we can talk about it later, "Melanie yells out.

"No, I want an answer I want to know why my boy goes behind my back and marry my sister, simple."

"Maverick, I married your sister because we loved each other."

"That's not good enough."

"Oaky, Maverick, let me make it good enough then, I've loved Mel since day one, we started dating a few weeks after her homecoming senior year, we got married the day after her Prom, and we lost our first child the first week of her freshman year of college, is that enough for you now."

I look straight at Mel and tears are in her eyes, I look at Janell and she's crying, so is Mercedes, Tracy and Brooklyn. Now I feel like a pissed jerk. I jump up and grab Donavan, but before anything can happen Flex has me in a hold and Donavan moves next to Mel hugging her.

"Maverick, why couldn't you leave it alone, I'm sure they would have told us in there own time. Mel, Don, I'm so sorry for the lost of your child I really am, "Bishop said. Then he stand up and walk to Mel and Donavan a hung them, each one of the guys and the girls follow suit, but I'm to shock to move.

"Mel, you were pregnant and you lost the baby, but when, where was I, why didn't you tell me".

"Maverick I didn't want to disappoint you."

"Come here sweetie, you could never disappoint me, I'm so sorry." Hugging her tightly I let tears fall, I can only imagine the pain and hurt she must have experienced. Turning to Donavan, "brother I'm so sorry," hugging him tight I can't believe it.

"Okay that's enough of that game," Janell said and we all agreed. Calling it a night we all find our spots and go to sleep.

Around 10:30 the next morning everyone starts to move about. It's Sunday and we decided to have a light brunch, and catch a cable channel sermon because none of us knew of a local church. Around 12 we decided to go to the Bronx zoo because it's one of Mercedes favorite places. William and Brooklyn decided to come along.
