The next couple weeks passed by extremely slowly. Johnnie and Bryan were still on warped, and that meant they were always busy. Except for late at night. But then johnnie was usually too tired to talk for long. So me and Bryan would skype or text, and talk about the arrangements for when I moved to LA. me and johnnie would share a room, and Bryan would be in the next room over if anything happened, which we knew was inevitable in my situation.
"Are you sure you're up for this kyle?" Bryan asked me one night, concern lacing his voice. "I mean, you just got back a few weeks ago. Should should be taking it easy. Not getting on a plane to move to LA."
"Im fine Bryan." I sighed. He wasn't convinced. "Bryan, you know what it's like here. I'm an outcast. I always have been. Its only gotten worse since may."
"I know kyle. I'm just worried about johnnie." He frowned, looking over his shoulder at the sleeping boy. "What if something happens, and it turns out bad? You know how he'll react."
"I know, I know. He'll blame himself. But can't we... Just keep it a secret?"
"Kyle, we've already lied to him enough. When this all goes to shit - and you know it will - what do you think will happen? Who will he have left to go to?"
"That's why I'm coming to LA Bryan. We know its going to happen. But johnnie still has hope. I need to be there with him until the time comes."
