I got up when I heard Bryan emerge from his room, careful to not wake johnnie. I then made my way to the kitchen, where bryan was already making coffee.
"Hey man." I exclaimed as I sat down across the counter from him.
"Hey." He smiled. "What a night you and johnnie had last night, eyh?" He taunted, smirking.
I blushed. "Yeah. We had quite a night." We sat in silence for a moment, as Bryan poured two mugs of coffee, one for each of us. "Now that we're bringing it up, me and johnnie had a talk last night."
"Go on."
"I told him about that night. You know, the last time I was in LA. I explained to him what happened. Why I did it." I looked down at my bare arm, tracing the deep cuts that had now began to form scars, but they still had a lot of time left to heal.
"That's good." He smiled sadly, passing me my coffee, which after putting in a heavy amount of cream and sugar, I took a large gulp of.
"Do you remember that treatment that my mom told you about?" I questioned. "The surgery on my lung to remove the tumor?"
He sighed. "Of course I remember."
"I think... I- I think I want to do it." He looked up at me from the counter, shocked.
"I thought it was too big of a-"
"It is a risk." I told him. "A big one. But if I don't do it, there's no hope for me to get better."
He sighed. "But what if something goes wrong?"
"Then you will need to explain to the viewers, and other youtubers, about what happened." I stated.
"Okay..." He sighed. "We'll talk to johnnie about it once he wakes up. He will want a say in this." He grabbed both of our mugs as we finished our coffee, dropping them in the sink.
"No." I told him. "If we tell johnnie, then he won't let me go. He told me earlier that he didn't want me to risk it. He thinks there's another way for me to get better. He doesn't know how bad it is yet." Bryan sighed.
"Okay. I'll call the doctor that your mom set up for you here in La. We can set up a meeting." He paused. "You should go to bed. Spend time with johnnie. Make memories while you can."
"Okay Bryan. Night."
"Night kyle."
