The last trial, finally.
And my predictions were right, it takes place in a labyrinth.
I look behind me as I see the crowd cheer for everyone in the tournament. As I scan the faces of people I get to all of my friends who are holding a big poster that reads Go Harry and Asphodel! in big sloppy letters. I smile at it, Seamus's idea probably. Dumbledore is speaking but I'm not paying much attention. I look beside me to Harry, he looks back. I give him a smile and wish him good luck. He does the same.
"If you need assistance or you want to withdraw from the trial just send red sparks to the sky with your wand," Dumbledore announces as he demonstrates.
I was thinking of doing that at first, but I've come this far. Might as well win, right?
"Alright champions! You may go in at the sound of the-" A loud booming from the cannon tells us that we can enter now.
Everyone runs in but I walk into it. I need to save my energy, who knows what type of things could be in there? Rushing is also not helpful when you need to find something. And taking my time also helps me know where I've been and where I'm going.
As I enter, I hear the leaves behind me rustling as the entrance suddenly disappears and looks like any other dead end in here.
I keep walking and I realize that this is going to be harder than I thought and the fact that it's dark and misty doesn't help.
"Lumos," I wave my wand and a light appears at the top of it. I look around and try to take in as much as possible to know where I am.

It's been about an hour and there is no sign of danger or the cup, I'm just tired and hungry. It honestly scares me just being in here and for some reason I feel like someone is watching me. I also hear rustling every now and then which I suppose is the wind.
Suddenly I hear someone scream. I look up to see red sparks in the sky. It sounded like Fleur, I hope she's okay. It scares me how close the sound to me. Something is here, or maybe it's just the labyrinth itself.
I stop on my tracks as I hear someone's footsteps close by. I put myself against the wall of the maze and hope that I won't be seen by anyone. A boy rushes past me and I realize that it's Harry.
"Harry!" I say. He looks back but keeps moving forward. What?
"Miss Evergreen," I flinch at the sound of my name coming from a deep voice behind me. I slowly turn around and see a familiar face.
"Mr. Malfoy? What are you doing here?" I say with a shaky voice.
"Business..." he says calmly.
"Bullshit!" I scream and he looks startled by this. My hunger upsets my mood and seeing a face as stupid as Lucius's just makes me even more mad. He's hiding something. "What do you want from me?"
"Miss Evergreen I have no clue-"
"Drop the act. What do you want? Why are you here? Is it because of Voldemort? Did he send you here to kill Harry?" I frown. "If you put a hand on Harry I swear-"
"Miss Evergreen, please," he chuckles. "Me? Being associated with You Know Who? Killing Potter? Don't make me laugh."
"I'm going to ask again, why are you here? What are you doing in the middle of a tournament that I most positively think you wouldn't be allowed in?"
He smiles. "You're very intelligent, Miss Evergreen, I'll give you that. You could be useful. I am looking for Potter. Just to have a talk with him."
I scoff. "A talk? Sure you will. I'm not telling you where Harry went. I'm walking out of this conversation now." I turn to leave but I stop at his words.
"I know who put your name in the Goblet of Fire."
I turn back around. "What?"
He nods. "It was surprising when I found out, to be honest. Very odd. They had a good reason to do it though. Maybe I'll tell you, if you tell me where Harry went."
"No."
"What?"
"No, are you stupid? I would prefer to find out myself," I step closer. "Why spoil the fun?"
And then I turn and leave. I should probably go the way that Harry went just to make sure he stays safe. But at the same time, I know Lucius will follow me and then I will be endangering Harry. I choose to go the opposite way.
As I quickly make my way through the maze I feel some of the branches touching my leg closer than ever. This didn't happen when I was walking. Maybe the maze responds to stress. But I can't stop, I just run faster. I can feel Lucius behind me, or in front of me.
I look back and I see nobody so I start to slow down but as soon as I look back in front, there he is. His hands wrap around my throat tightly.
"I'll give you one more chance, if you don't answer me I'll just kill you." He says lowly. "Where is Harry Potter?"
I grit my teeth, "I won't tell you!" I quickly grab my wand and point to him. "Expelliarmus!"
That sends him flying away and loosing the grip from my throat. That gives me a few moments to recover my breath before I get up and point my wand to him.
"Cruc-"
"Petrificus Totalus!"
I sigh as he freezes in place. That should keep him there for some time. I quickly run past him and make my way to Harry. I try to look for him but I can't find him anyway. "The maze changes!" I heard someone yell earlier.
And it sure does because as soon as I look behind me. Before my eyes is the Cup.
And I'm the first one to find it.
