I take a deep breath and smile. I finally have it. Right in front of me. I step towards it but as I reach for it I hear someone's hurried steps from behind.
"Don't touch that!" A voice yells. I turn to see a girl with long blonde hair dressed in a black dress with long sleeves, she has a hood over her head that covers her face with a shadow.
"Who are you?" I ask.
"That's not important. Whatever you do, just don't touch the cup."
"Why not? Why should I listen to you?"
"You'll get killed if you touch it. It won't send you back to where the winner is supposed to be congratulated."
I step closer to her. "What do you mean?"
"The one who touches it will be sent directly to Voldemort. It's a plan to trap Harry Potter and get him killed."
My eyes widen. "You're a student, aren't you? How do you know about this?"
She stays silent and then speaks with a shaky voice. "Please don't touch it."
I grab my wand and step towards her. I point it to her face. "Lumos."
The light reveals a teary face of the girl from the ball. "Jane..?" I say.
"He made me do it," she whispers.
"Who?"
Jane lifts one of her sleeves revealing the Dark Mark spreading down her arm. I step back as she steps forward.
"I-I'm sorry," she says as she cries. "I had no choice."
"Hey, it's okay," I step towards her. "It'll be okay."
"No it's not, Harry may have a chance of living but I'm not sure about Cedric. And it's only a matter of time before he chooses Draco to-" I touch her shoulder to comfort her but as I do, I get teleported back to the start where everyone is.
I get up in confusion as everyone starts cheering. No, no, no, no, I need to go back. I can't leave them all there. Neville, Ron, Hermione, and Ginny come running towards me but tears start to build up in my eyes.
"You did it!" Neville cheers.
"I'm glad you're safe," Hermione smiles.
"Now we just have to wait for Harry and the others!" Ginny says.
"I could've saved them," I whisper.
"What?" Ron asks.
"I could've saved them!" I scream and start sobbing.
"What are you talking about Asphodel?" Hermione asks.
"Harry... Harry he's in trouble! And Cedric! He's going to die! He's back! Voldemort is back!" I yell and everyone gasps in terror. Dumbledore comes running towards me and grips my shoulders.
"Miss Evergreen, are you speaking the truth?" He says firmly.
I squeeze my eyes shut and nod. "He's back! He's back! He's going to get Harry! He's going to kill Cedric!"
Draco runs towards my side and asks hurriedly. "What are you talking about?!"
"Your dad is in there with them..." I whisper without looking at him. I turn my head and almost hit him but Neville grabs me. "Your father almost killed me! He's the reason why Voldemort knows where Harry is! Jane is a part of them thanks to him!"
"What..." he whispers.
I sigh, "he's going to make you join them too."
"What?"
"She's lying! There's no way the Ministry will let us down like this!" I hear someone in the crowd say and everyone starts booing me.
I look at them panting with my cheeks wet from tears. "Listen to me!" I scream. "It is your choice if you want to believe me or not, but get this, dark times are coming and the world will begin to crumble very soon. This is your first and last warning."
"Alright that's enough!" Professor Moody yells. "Take her away!"
Dumbledore grabs me gently by the arm and takes me to his office, leaving everyone else behind.

"Miss Evergreen, do you know why you were chosen for the trials, even if your name was mistakenly put in the Goblet?" Dumbledore asks after I've calmed down, giving me a cup of tea.
"Because it chooses randomly?" I say.
"Not exactly, you see, the Goblet of Fire chooses the Champions by the ones with the highest probability of winning, with you having one of the highest out of all of them."
"Me? But it doesn't make sense that someone would've put my name in the Goblet," I say, frowning.
"Well, don't you think it is strange that I decided to enroll you into Hogwarts the same year that the Tri-Wizard tournament was supposed to take place?"
"No, I was told it was because of my academic-" I stop myself from saying another word and look at him. What is he trying to get at? I know whoever put my name in that goblet had nothing to do with the fact that I was enrolled into the school...right? Wait. I look down and frown. Is this what he's saying? There's no way. That's impossible...
"You put my name in the Goblet didn't you... you knew that I was going to win if it wasn't for Voldemort being there. You knew that Beauxbaton was going to compete this year and therefore wanted enrolled me into Hogwarts and put my name in! Why? Why would you do that? Why would you put me through those awful trials when there were others that volunteered to participate?"
"Because Miss Evergreen, there's something about you that's not right. Something that I've been trying to figure out but I just can't. I wanted to test your abilities with these trials and you know things. You're intelligent, yes, but there's something else that's beyond my level of understanding..."
"You're imagining things, professor," I glare. "And I think I'm done with this conversation." I get up and leave, slamming the door behind me.
