Everest left the cabin in order to go for Snowball. Her surgery was a success but she still needed time to recover. Her movement is limited and slow, not being able to do fast movements. She entered the forest walking the path she always took but she noticed marks on the trees. Like something clawed into them. "What made these?" She taught. The young Husky continued her walk now worried.

As she reached the "Training Ground" she was looking around for her wolf disciple. "Snowball! Where are you?" She called out. No response. "I hope he is fine. Even then he was probably not alone." She giggled. She sat down and waited. She rested her eyes after waiting for a few minutes and woke up hearing a roar. She lifted her head and saw a giant black bear. She yelled out from the fear, thus attracting the bears attention. The bear, seeing his next meal he charged for her. Everest tried to ran away but she couldn't, her movement did not allowed her to move that fast and the bear came too close to ran away from it. The Husky had her life flash before her eyes and she yelled out in fear again before closing her eyes.

The bear bit, but Everest was fine. As she opened her eyes and see that she was off the ground. As the Husky looked up she saw Snowball who saved her life. "Snowball!" Everest yelled out in joy. The wolf but her down. "Get out of here Everest. I'm gonna take my revenge now." The wolf said making eye contact with the bear. "Don't be a fool Snowball! You can't defeat him. Come and let's get out of here." She said. "You took away my parents. Now you are trying to take away my friend. I'll kill you bastard!" Snowball growled. Everest hid behind the bigger rock. "Best of luck then." She said.

The two animals charged at each other. The first attempt to attack made by the bear by swiping its paw trying to hit Snowball's head. Our wolf ducked to avoid the blow and in response he jumped on his leg and then on its head then Snowball bit into the bears neck. The beast roared in pain as it tried to shook him off. He succeeded sending Snowball flying a few feet away. When he got up he was met by the jaws of the bear. Everest gasped thinking it's over. Luckily it was not the case. Snowball trow a rock inside the bears mouth that started choking it. "You son of a bitch you almost had me." Snowball growled. The wolf went for its eye next bitting and ripping it out of the socket. The bear roared one more time making the rock fall out of then as the beast recovered a bit he countered with a powerful blow sending the wolf flying once more. He landed next to Everest who looked at him concerned. As the wolf forced himself onto his feet his vision was getting blurry due to the damage he received. This was noticeable on his posture since he was barley standing. "Run Snowball. You can't win." Everest begged him. Snowball looked at her and then at the bear, who was closing in. "Then I'll die trying." He let out as he charged one more time. Everest started crying fearing the wolf might end up dying. The two animals charged at each other and went the two were close Snowball slid under the bear clawing his stomach in the process. Once again it roared in pain but he was ready to end this fight. The beast stood on his hind legs looking around for Snowball. Once spotted he ran full speed and force into him making the wolf hit the ground. The bear did not intended to let him get up again. The bear tried to step on him. Snowball dodged out the way but he was then met with the jaws of the animal. "Shit!" Snowball yelled as he was sure he lost. But the bite never happened as a rock hit the bears head. "Everest!" Snowball yelled. "Snowball! The stick!" She yelled. The wolf looked to his side noticing a long and thick stick. The bear was distracted and decided to go after the Husky. She stood her ground betting everything on her friends next move. And Snowball delivered. He quickly grabbed the stick into his mouth and jumped on the bears back and jumped one more time to avoid getting shook off. In the air he turned around stabbing the bear in the exposed wound where his eye once was. The bear roared as loud as he could in pain as it tried to remove the stick. The wolf didn't intend to let him do it as he used all his might to push the stick deeper stabbing the brain, killing the bear.

As the bear hit the ground, the wolf went to the rock he and Everest used to relax and laid down there. "That was for my family you mother fucker." He said before passing out. Hours later he woke up with Everest by his side. "Everest?" He asked his vision being still blurred. "Oh good! You are awake." She said smiling. "We won?" The wolf asked. "Yes we did." She said nuzzling him. "Good." He said. "Are you okay? You were out for a few hours now." The Husky asked. The wolf sat up before answering. "I could be better. But nothing a bit of resting can't fix." He said. "If you are able to, we should go. Skye will try to walk soon. Ryder called me to tell me that." The Husky said. Snowball nodded and laid down. "Hop on! You had surgery too." He said smiling. "Thank you sir." She giggled then climbed on his back. The wolf with Everest on his back left the scene letting the bears body rott away. "Mom, I'm coming home." Snowball thought to himself.
