"Breakfast is ready."

I stretched my arms on the soft bed. When I opened my eyes, Lucien appeared to my sight. He was holding a tray. The tray has a cup of coffee, rice, and bacon with egg. I blinked twice at him, processing everything that happened last night.

I bit my lips when I remember clearly everything. After what happened in his car he brought me to his mansion. And we did it again. We made it on his couch, in his bed, and even on his study table.

And the additional thinking that he was still my boyfriend made my heart leap. He was right. Because I never broke up with him before I left the Philippines. I'm still processing everything because right now, I feel overwhelmed.

"Daydreaming?" he smirked.

He was already sitting on the corner of his bed. His brows were curled up while looking at me.

"Just wait," I rolled my eyes at him and he chuckled.

I pulled up the sheets until it covered my neck. He has a weird look on his face while staring at me.

"Uhm, can I borrow a t-shirt? I don't know if you have forgotten that I'm fully naked right now and I just can't sit here without a shirt on."

"Oh, sorry." he shook his head and marched to his walk-in closet. "But it doesn't matter if you're naked, I saw everything countless of times."

I narrowed my eyes at him when he appeared in my sight again. He was holding a white shirt. He lent it to me and I took it from his hand. I waited for him to turn around but he was still looking. And I guess he has no plan at all.

"Can you turn around?" I commanded.

"Oh," he mumbled and turned his back at me.

I was watching him closely while putting his shirt on. Hinanap ko ang panty ko sa gilid ng kama pero nakita ko itong maayos ang tupi sa bedside table. Sinuot ko ito at lumapit sa kaniya para bumulong.

"Okay na."

He let out a sigh before sitting on the bed to face me. "I was already planning to clear the things between us,"

Napataas ang kilay ko. "How? By avoiding me, Lucien?"

"Come on, Amara. We both know that you are the only person who keeps on avoiding me. You liked games even before, and every time you avoided me, I would think you were not interested anymore."

I looked away when I knew he was right. I just don't want to assume things between us. He was not a courageous person who would tell everything right away. He was hesitant to tell me what kind of relationship we had before so I started building a wall.

"What are we, Lucien?" I asked looking back at him again.

He already said he was my boyfriend but I want him to say it again this time, now that we are both sober.

"Am I your fubu or side chick?"

He raised a brow at my question. "What? No! I would never have considered that idea even before. If only you remember everything."

"Then what are we? I want the truth, Lucien." I asked.

My heart was beating loudly while waiting for his response. "We were a couple. . ."

He straightly looked at me in the eyes. I was stunned with his answer. I didn't know after all these years, he would still consider me as his girlfriend.

"What's the cause of our break up?" I tried to ask.

He avoided my gaze and started folding the sheets I used earlier. I was just staring at him while waiting for his answer. And it took him minutes to finally utter a word.
