My Little Runaway

You: I'll do it.

Volition: Good.

You: Okay. I need to let everyone know what the hell I'm doing.

Volition: No! Quite the opposite. You should keep people away from you.

You: Why?

Logic: They'll be looking for you and anyone connected. You're probably marked for dead again as we speak. If you want to keep your people safe, you either need to be vague as hell or disappear.

You: How can I disappear?

Inland empire: Lucy is a smart cookie. She can help you.

You: How do you know?

Inland empire: I've helped you so far.

You: Fair.

Interfacing: You quickly download all the research data necessary and walk away from the computer.

You walk up to the wife and tip your hat.

You:"thank you for the help."

You walk out of the apartment and go to your car.

Interfacing: You start the car and begin to drive off.

You: So what can Lucy do to help me?

Logic: She knows quite a bit of people. Maybe her or her gang can help.

You shook your head and drove back to your apartment.

As you stop at the building, you leave the car and go into the building. You walked into your office and Lucy immediately hugged you. 

Lucy(Empathy): She appears to be distraught.

Empathy: It looks like leaving her so abruptly wasn't a good idea.

You: Yeah...

Empathy: You should comfort her.

You (empathy): You hugged Lucy as a way to claim her down. "I'm here now..."

Lucy: She desperately tried to kiss you but you stopped it.

You: "I'm sorry but...I can't love you. Not with how my life is going now."

Lucy: She looks at you with confusion. "What do you mean?"

You: "I found the truth. Everything. Arasaka's plan to infect the people and gouge them for a cure. I have the truth and now I have a target on my back. I don't want you or anyone else getting caught in the crossfire."

Lucy:"What's your plan then?"

You:"I'm going to leak it to the news and then run. Or die trying to run."

Lucy:"You're going to run?"

You:"Yes. But I think I'm going to need more than just taking a car out of the city."

Lucy:"Maine knows someone."

Inland empire: Two for two!

Lucy:"His name is Ed. I'll call Maine and tell him to refer you."

You:"Alright."

Lucy:"Oh you need a password."

You:"What is it?"

Lucy:"Ride like the wind."

You:"Got it."

Lucy:"You should make your way there now."

You:"Got it."

You leave the office and walk to your car.
