Mafioso's weapon (Chuuya x fem reader)

Chapter 13

You groan awake so see your in a hospital style room. Your body aches and you feel tired. You slowly move your head to the side to see Chuuya sat in a chair asleep. You let out a groan as you try to reach over for a glass of water nearby and you weakly grab it but as soon as you lift it the glass falls from your grasp and falls to the floor startling the ginger awake.

"What?!" he exclaims in shock as he suddenly jumps up from the chair ready to fight but relaxes when he sees no threat before processing your awake "Y/N! Your awake!"

"Chuuya.... Volume... Head hurts" you groan out with your dry mouth and throat.

"Sorry.. Sorry.." He says quieter before grabbing a fresh glass and fills it with water "How are you feeling?"

He helps you sit up properly then helps you take a drink of water.

"If this is how dying feels then it's shit" you chuckle weakly "are you going to go get Fukuzawa?"

"Wow I'm impressed" Chuuya smirks.

"It was supposed to be Mori to get infected but Fyodor knew I was the key to know the success but Fyodor won't win either way" you grin "it was a losing situation no matter what  for that Russian Bastard"

"Well that's good to hear but your still dying" Chuuya frowns.

"I will be fine.... But Chuuya I need to warn you about something" you say and cough a little.

"What do you need to tell me?" he asks as he sits on the bed and you can tell he is nervous.

"Whatever you do" you say staring into his eyes seriously "Do not engage with Rampo. He will trap you in one of the guild members books and you will be trapped there for a very long time"

"Book?" he asks confused.

"Edgar Allan Poe his ability is called Black Cat in the Rue Morgue. It's a short to mid range ability and basically you get sucked into a novel and can't escape until you solve the mystery" you tell him "If you get sucked into it you will be in there with Rampo. There are 500  guilty people in the novel and you need to find and identify to escape. Of course you being the impatient man you are you will end up just beating everyone up"

"Damn right about that" he chuckles and you can't help but weakly giggle "But don't worry I will keep that in mind.... Thanks for the warning"

"Your welcome" you softly say as you look at your lap.

"But won't this change the course in your world?" Chuuya asks confused.

You bite your lip as your eyes water up and your fist clench.

"Can you keep what I'm going to tell you a secret?" you quietly say.

"Of course" Chuuya says without hesitation.

"Well it doesn't matter if what I tell you matters or not now because I found out.... " you tell him and he looks at you confused while you lift your head up and stare him straight in the eyes "in my world I no longer exist"
