Chapter 26

You enter the agency and was surprised to hear how quiet it was and looked at Atsushi. You both entered the agency to see it was dark and empty.

"The fuck..." you breathe out confused as you walked further in and places the bags by your desk.

You jump and turn around when the door slams and your eyes widen to see Gin stood there.

"Gin?" you asked confused then when you blink she is behind you and has a knife upto you neck.

"Traitor" she whispers in your ear.

"Woah woah woah Gin calm down.."you say trying to keep calm" Mori arranged this... Where is everyone?"

Suddenly to the door on your right you hear Atsushi followed by a loud shout saying for him to shut up followed by a thud and a cry of pain. Your eyes widen and you feel the blade closer to your throat.

" Gin... " you say cautiously "let's talk about this civilly"

Suddenly you move your head back causing her to move back with the knife but you keep moving back to avoid the knife then do a flip back and create some distance. You quickly grab the flip knife from your pocket and open it up and stare at Gin moving your head side to side cracking your neck that you knew was he weakness and doing so made her visably flinch for a second which you took as an opportunity to jump on a desk and use it to travel over then jump over her and kick her in the back but she catches herself then in a blink she was infront if you with her knife up which you manage to block.

"God dammit Gin!" you growl before going to knee her in the stomach but she grabs your thigh and flip you over thankfully you managed to use that to your advantage to kick her knife out her hand and it flies to the other side of the room and stab into the wall.

You land on your front breaking some of the impact with your hands before flipping the leg she has a hold on using the momentum to flip her over you on the floor then you to flip and land ontop of her then muttering a sorry and hitting a pressure point making her go unconscious. Once she is out you catch your breath and grab your knife which fell on the floor then the one from the walk before going upto the door everyone is behind.

"Alright Tachihara I know your in there. Come out and fight me like a man you pussy!" you call out before hearing an offended gasp from the said man.

"Well now you hurt my feelings so no!" he retorts back like a child.

"Fine have it your way!" you growl kicking the door open and the light reveals the rest of the agency in the middle of the room tied up and surrounded by not only Tachihara but also Higuchi, Akutagawa and Kouyou "the fuck?! Seriously did Mori not pass on the damn message?!"

Before you can think much you hear Akutagawa shout Rashomon and you see the red/black tendrils come at you and you quickly dodge them using the knives to break them in the process but you miss judge one and get caught in your side. You cry out as it slices you but you grit your teeth and moved fast to stand behind Tachihara and use him as a human Shield.

"Drop the gun Tachihara" you say lowly followed by a growl which causes the man to start shaking and drop the gun.

When you look up you hear everyone gasp as your eyes turn colour. But before you can respond Higuchi places a gun to Fukuzawa's head and cocks it.

"Higuchi don't you dare" you lowly warn placing the blade to Tachihara's neck "I'm sure we can come up with a deal you guys."

"You betrayed us L/N" Akutagawa says "Mori said so"

"Oh my god" you groan "If Mori told you to jump off a high bridge and do a triple summersault and cook a 4 course meal before for you hit the water because it would get Dazai's approval. Would you do it you fucking simp?!"

He grits his teeth not happy with what you said and goes to activate Rashomon aiming straight for your father. You quickly knock out Tachihara throwing him at Higuchi and Kouyou distracting them and as you move to block your father you take that split second to swipe up cutting the binds on the agency  before wrapping your arms around him and awaiting your back to get pierced by Akutagawa's ability but only feel a prick on your neck. For a few seconds you keep your eyes squeezed shut before suddenly you hear clapping and your father placing his hand on your head.

"Well done Y/N" he tell you and you open your eyes and look back to see everyone fine.

"T-this was all a test?" you ask shakily.

"We have to do this test so I can use my ability on you. I asked Mori to have the ones your close to for assistance minus Nakahara as he would be too obvious " he tells you.

You stand up with your father and suddenly your mother wraps her arms around you and you hug her back. You look at everyone who is smiling at you.

" Dazai!"

Here he goes you thought as you rolled your eyes.

"Was my role adequate enough?" Akutagawa asks.

"You did alright" Dazai says patting his shoulder only for the ravenette to faint.

"Sir!" Higuchi exclaims in shock as she runs upto him.

"And there is Simp number two" you mutter under your breath just as Gin walks in and your run upto her and hug her tightly "I'm so sorry!"

"Don't be" she says quietly for only you to hear as she pats your head "you learned well"

You suddenly hear a groan and let go of Gin to see Tachihara waking up with his head still on Kouyou's lap.

"Sorry Tachi" you awkwardly chuckle as you help him up.

"It's okay" he groans as he stands. .

"You did well Y/N I'm proud of you" Kouyou says with a soft smile.

"Thank you" you smile.

"Well then. We better head back to the base. We will see you tomorrow evening" Kouyou tells you as Tachihara picks up Akutagawa and you nod waving goodbye as she and the others leave so it's just you and the rest of the agency.

"Well then" you hear your mother say with a smile "I think it's time to celebrate"
