Chapter 17

You awoke in your bedroom and looking outside you can tell its early afternoon. You say up and looked around to be surprised to see Tachihara sat in your swing chair.

"Oh hey your finally awake!" he says with a small smile "got worried when you fainted suddenly. What happened?"

"Fyodor escaped... He wasn't supposed too. This is completely different situation that could effect everything" you say nervously "but I need to tell you something so I can save a life. I know your a good guy even if you don't act like it sometimes and I don't want you to die"

"Wait what?" he asked shocked as he gets up, walks over to the bed and sits down.

"Fukuchi is working alongside Fyodor and when he tells you will fight him and go to end your life instead of letting Fukuchi.... But he won't let you in the end... You will live but not live at the same time because he has Bram Stoker at his dismissal and will turn you" you explain and you watch his face pale "but it's doesn't matter if Fyodor is in prison or not because I'm 99% sure it will still happen and you need to stop Juno who will arrest Dazai. Juno will be turned aswell....his ability will help you let him know it's the truth seeing as he is basically like a human lie detector. You need to denounce your role in the hunting dogs and stay full time as a port mafia member"

"I-I don't know what to say..." He says still in shock.

"I know your past and the reason you came here. I saw it play out and you want revenge but it wasn't Yasano's fault...she even wears the butterfly hair clip to this day that he made her. She is still effected to this day aswell and it hurts her knowing she couldn't help him but she was still a child herself under strict order and command and had her ability abused the same those soldiers were abused. They were sent out nearly killed to be healed then sent out again and continue the vicious cycle which would eventual take a mental toll on someone and sadly your brother fell victim to it" you say and place your hand in his shoulder making him flinch slightly as you see tears fall down his face while his hands clench into fists "I have experienced loss at a young age aswell at a young age to someone I looked upto. I know the pain, denial, anger and sadness....but revenge won't help you and I'm sure your brother won't like that"

"W-who did you lose?" he asked softly through tears.

"My mother... I was 12 when she disappeared without a trace. It was as if she never existed" you tell him.

He slowly looked up at you tears still falling down his face. You leaned forward and used your thumbs to wipe them away.

"You will get through this but first you need to leave the hunting dogs. You will be safe here" you tell him.

He stares at you and you can tell he is trying to process everything and you give him time to do so before he calms down then does something you did not expect and that was hug you which you return. Suddenly the door slams open and you quickly pull away to see a shocked Chuuya stood there.

"The hell did I just walk into?" he asks.

"Tch don't worry short ass I ain't making a move on your girl" Tachihara says with a grin as he stands up and pats your head "I can see her more as an older sister if anything. Anyhow im out of here, see ya"

"Bye Tachi" you softly say with a smile as hhe leave the room ad shuts the door behind Chuuya who proceeds to walk over to you.

"How are you feeling?" he asks sitting next to you.

"You know I'm going to give you a sarcastic response everytime you ask me that right?" you grin.

"Wouldn't expect less from you" he smirks as he lays back on the bed with his hands behind his head "what exactly did happen? Even the boss got worried which doesn't happen normally he actually leaped from his chair and ran over to you"

"He maybe a mafia boss but he was a doctor at one point and that instinct doesn't dissappear" you explain as you shift so you can lay next to him "But why I passed out was because of shock.... Fyodor wasn't supposed to escape and was supposed to be in jail.... And Dazai soon after"

"Wait what??" Chuuya ask as he turns his head to you.

"Yeah..." you sigh "but I hope I just changed that outcome"

"How?" he questions confused.

"We will find out soon before it's too late...I hope" you say glancing at the male "I just need to play my cards right and everything should work out"

He nods as you both stare back at the white ceiling in a comfortable silence as your mind buzzes with different scenarios and possible outcomes and what the best course of actions are.
