Chapter 3

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY OFFICIALLY 14!!

Percy's P.O.V

I looked around the room. To me to was huge! There were two sets of beds, one that was black and a bit purple . That one was mostly plain but the other one was sea blue and green. The bedding had different sea animals on it.

I mostly liked how there was a giant Dolphin on it, the room coloring wasn't like my bed but that was ok, the coloring was a simple color of beige.

Each side of the room had a computer, one for me and one for Clint. There was a doorway that also lead to a simple bathroom the contained a shower/bath, a toilet, and a sink.

The carpet of the main room was a medium blue, like it was dark but it was also a light blue coloring. But I still liked it a lot. There was a air duct in the room that Clint started to walk to.

"I mostly hang out in the air vents, if you need anything just shout and I would hear ok? And don't get tin trouble I'll be back soon from my mission ok?" Clint asked

I smiled and nodded. Clint smiled and go into the air vents to go wherever he went. So if this is a government facility then maybe I could get information on who killed mom and maybe on dad?

 With that I decided to get out the map that Clint gave me and started to make a plan. Sadly the map didn't include surveillance but that was fine, I just hacked them and got the video footage.

Once learning what I needed I grabbed a chair and moved it to the air vent. Climbing on the chair I lifted myself into the air shaft. Starting to move silently I went down tunnels and climbed and climbed down other things. Hoping that I didn't run into Clint.

After going down a few turns I found what I was looking for, the big-bosses office. Sadly he was in it and I had to make a new plan.

I bit my lip in thought and decided to make a distraction. Moving silently I made my way to the kitchen, there I put some popcorn kernels into a pot with a lid that I made sure it was tightly on. From there I put on the stove and set the pot on it.

Moving back to the air vent quickly I made my way to Fury's, apparently that's his name, office and when the popping started a lot of people started to move from there places with guns.

Now that I thought about it this was probably a bad idea, oh well, when Fury went out of his office I climbed out of the vent and locked the door. There I went on his computer, they really secured my moms file for some reason, from there I looked at my moms case.

I quickly tried to read fast with my Dyslexia, that I tried not to think about, and found out that it was a mob boss rookies that killed my mom. That mob was one of the biggest in New York, I could now see why they put lots of lock and key on the file. Apparently only few people of S.H.I.E.L.D know about the mob boss.

When I heard some noises I quickly got out of the file and went back to the air vent. Setting everything like nothing happened I made my way back to my room.

Once I was there I closed the vent and went to playing video games on my computer. Only I was a bit distracted with what I just read, I knew that I definitely wasn't going to go after that guy or anyone associated with him, that would be insane!

With a sigh I decided to try and read about something instead of playing video games. I don't let my dyslexia get me behind, I'm actually pretty smart compared to other kids my age. Sadly as I kept reading my foot just kept tapping, which after a while my leg started to hurt. (Has that ever happened to someone, where they tap their leg or foot then it starts to hurt after awhile?)

When I stopped reading I got a knock on the door, wondering who was there I opened the door and Fury and Phil both came in.

I stepped aside for them to come inside but I was confused at why they were here, also worried that they might have found out what I did.

They both came in, Fury without a emotion and Phil who smiled softly, I was starting to honestly get worried.

I sat in my desk swivel chair as they both just stood. "You know what you did was both impressive and bad." Phil said

I didn't know what to think, then Fury said, "We know that you looked up your mothers file, we both thought you might, but breaking into my office and actually looking up the file is another level of interesting." I started to sink further into my chair wanting to hide and disappear.

Phil smiled reassuring, "Don't worry we aren't punishing you but do please not do it again. You are a guest here don't forget." I nodded after that with a sorry face.

"Percy we want to know how smart you are, are you willing able to take some test on your intelligence? For what you did was really smart of you, we know you hacked S.H.I.E.L.D and that is really impressive for we only know of one other person who does it constantly. The tests are on paper, no needles or anything just real paper tests on different grade levels depending how well you do, is that ok?"Fury asked

I was chewing my corner lip again in thought but decided there was any harm in taking a few paper tests so I nodded my agreement and smiled at them.

Phil smiled back while Fury's lips twitched upwards for a second then it was gone. With that Phil took my to a room that only had a chair and desk, he gave me a calculator and then some papers filled with questions on it.

They gave me test after test all with different levels or how hard the questions were, although I thought they were also kinda easy too. Once they stopped giving me papers a lady took them to Phil and Fury while another person said I could go back to my room or explore the ship that I am aloud to.

With that I took off the where the climbing wall was that I saw on the map. Once there I got harnessed up and started to climb.

Like I said Percy is going to be different than the books. He's going to be smart and other things. Anyway I don't know how much i'm updating today for it's my B-Day and everything. But I will soon.
