Crossover- Doctor Who Chapter 1

It was an ordinary day like no other, well for me anyway, I was sitting in the park playing some chess and in the corner of my eye I saw something definitely out of place.

There was this blue police box from the 1960's when police would throw the culprit in the small box that only contained one door until they could transfer said person.

Abandoning my game, which is a feat as I love chess, I moved toward the box. No one else seemed to be seeing it. They just walked right past it.

At a certain point people seemed to not have seen me either. I frowned.

How could they not notice this out of place object.

I tried to push open the door put it was stuck in place. I frowned once more but was more mesmerized by the craftsmanship that the box established on the outside.

Sure it was slightly dirty but other than that it was in good condition. I moved my hand from the handle and instead placed it on the side of the box and was entranced by the soft hum that was floating through my hand and into my head.

It wasn't bad, more...relaxed, sort of hum.

Course it was ruined by a man shouting, "Out of the way, alien chasing us!" I was about to move to the side as the man seemed to be able to enter the box but while doing so somewhat crashed into my also driving me into the box.

That said man raced to some sort of counsel but I was more curious about how the outside was smaller than the inside.

The other two people, a man and woman, who also entered the box looked down at me after a sort of whooshing sound was happening then suddenly stopped.

"Uh Doctor, we picked up an unexpected guest." Said the man wearing a sort of 1900s coat and white T-shirt while the woman was wearing sort of British clothes, literally she had a British flag as a shirt and some jeans.

"Oh!" The guy who seemed to be called Doctor said finally stopping whatever he was doing before and finally looked at me, "You aren't suppose to be here." he said

I ignored him and stood up dusting my jeans and looked around the place excited about this.

"I know what you're about to say-" The doctor said but I cut him off by saying, "It's interesting how the interior and exterior exist in entirely different dimensions." I said looking around at the place.

"that's not what your suppose to say." The man called Doctor said with a small hint of a frown but also some of surprise.

"How'd you know that?" The other man asked.

"Well it's quite obvious." I said, "otherwise how do you explain how the outside is smaller than the inside?" I asked looking at him, "Also what are your names?"

"Still didn't say it correctly." The man called Doctor mutter then joyfully said, "My name is the Doctor! These are my companions Jack Harkness and Rose Tyler! Who might you be?"

"I'm Percy." I said looking at them once more keeping distance between myself and them.

"Doctor I think we may want to explain a bit more about the Tardis." The girl names Rose said who was definitely British

"Tardis?" I asked

"Time And Relative Dimentions In Space." The Doctor provided

I thought about it for a second and furrowed my eyebrows and slowly asked, "...a time machine?"

"This one is smart." The man named Jack said grinning

"Exactly a time machine." The Doctor nodded

I slowly asked, "How is it that you have a time machine?"

Rose said, "He's an alien." at the same time as the Doctor said, "I'm an alien."

I shifted uncomfortable thinking about the ones that invaded us months ago, "...What type of alien?"

"You wouldn't know the name." The Doctor said waving his hand at the question.

"Not exactly what I meant." I said already knowing I probably never heard of his race name.

"Then what do you mean?" Jack asked curiously as he sat down in a chair by the Doctor who was still at some sort of control area.

After hesitating I asked, "Hostile or Friendly?" I asked shifting for a small knife that was hidden in the pocket of my hoodie.

"Why do you ask? "Doctor asked and noticing my 'you didn't answer the question' look he also added, "Friendly."

I sighed with some relief feeling I could trust him and at the indication from Rose to come closer I went up the couple of steps and went near them, "Well, we were invaded by aliens not to long ago that destroyed New York." I said

"What!" Rose yelped but instead of turning to her the Doctor asked me, "Was that the year when the Avengers got together?"

"...Yeah?" I said hesitantly

"Couldn't help. That was fixed point in time." he said dismissively and quickly caught on what that meant. You couldn't change what the outcome was.

I nodded in understanding, "How is it that you're taking this well? I mean your what? 9?" Jack asked

I glared at him lightly and in a higher voice than I preferred indignantly said, "I'm 10!" I said huffing and crossing my arms.

"you should know better than to ask someone their age." The Doctor joking said as he leaned against the controls.

The Doctor himself was wearing a leather  black jacket and had sort of big ears and a sort of oldish face (9th doctor for those who didn't realize it).

"You never answer the question." Rose pointed out and I raised an eyebrow at her, "I have an IQ of someone twice my age and was already invaded by aliens, met a Asgardian God...well technically he calls himself Demigod, have weird powers. Nothing really surprises me anymore." I said with a shrug.

The Doctor leaned forward, "What powers?" he asked with a small gleam in his eye for excitement but I just shook my head and said, "Nothing that matters right now."

Doctor made a disgruntled grunt but brightened and said, "Would you like to got back in time with us? One trip, that's all I'm asking." The Doctor said

I looked to Jack and Rose to see if they were ok with that and they nodded and I smiled, "That would be very interesting. I would love to go." I said

"Future or Past?" The Doctor asked

I paused, "Surprise me." I said

The Doctor grinned and ran around the controls pressing something and paused slightly and looked up at me and while grinning said, "Fantastic."then pulling a lever the place shook.

Along with the shaking the wheezing sound was back.
