"Can we get a dog." Percy asked out of the blue as Clint and Natasha were working on a report from their last mission.
"We can't bring a dog on the Helicarrier." Clint pointed out
"He could stay in my lab and my bedroom." Percy said, "Come on it would be a German Shepherd and he could be useful on missions."
Clint thought it over and Natasha said, "It would be unlikely to suspect someone who is walking a dog." She said with an afterthought.
"And if he's not on mission and you're not on the Helicarrier or the dog can't be with us for something?" Clint asked
"When you're not on a mission the dog could stay with me and if we're both out then he could be at our home that only Phil , Fury, and Natasha here know about. And I doubt Stark would care if there was a fog, Steve may like it, Bruce likes dogs, I'm more worried about Thor throwing the dog out the window to see if it flies." Percy said
Clint thought for a but, "I'll ask Fury."
"Yes." Percy said while fist-bumping the air and then went back to his lap while Clint shook his head at his nephew.
Days Later
"I like this one." Percy said as he looked at the was almost 3 years old and was a lot calmer than the other dogs, "Can I name him Bear?" (Image Above is Bear. Image found on Google.)
"Why Bear?" Clint asked as he also started to pet the calm dog.
"Because when near danger Bears react and will protect their family but when there is no danger they are friendly."
"Bear it is." Clint said
Percy smiled brightly and as Clint filed the proper papers Percy was playing fetch with Bear with a Tennis Ball.
Percy didn't even have to talk to the dog to know that they already formed a strong friendship that would last for many years.
This is a bit short but hey...it's an update and it's cute.
