Birthday

Percy's P.O.V

Ok so I may or may not have forgotten that is was my birthday but it certainly was a surprise than when I woke up a cake was smashed into my face with people all around saying Happy Birthday.

I could just tell that Tony and Clint did this so I did the mature thing and chased them down and smashed some of the cake in their face.

That was how I woke up on August 18 for my birthday.

Now after my shower and eating some of the cake that was on me I went down to the kitchen but before I could go in Clint stopped me and steered me away saying that I couldn't go in there until things were ready.

So instead he got his car keys and we went bowling, I totally beat him too it was funny. We bowled for what seemed two hours and then we went and got ice-cream.

Clint tried to put his ice cream in my hair but I dodged and stuff mine in his nose while taking his and starting to eat that one.

Clint kept saying, "Cold. Cold. To Cold." as he tried to get it out of his nose. I was laughing that I literally fell over.

Now I would be saying I wasn't having fun but I missed the birthdays I spent with my mom, she would get me something small but we mostly sat on the couch and watched movies together while eating a small cake slice and some ice-cream.

Clint must have seen my down face because when he was done getting the ice-cream out of his nose he told me to follow him.

He put a blindfold on my eyes and told me not to peak, I listened, we were in the car and after a short drive I could tell we were somewhere more peacefully in New York cause there were less cars and honking.

Clint got out but grabbed a bag then lead me through this gate and my feet were touching grass.

After a short amount of time later he stopped and told me to sit, I did and he followed. When he told me I could take off the blindfold the first thing I saw was Clint holding ice-cream and then I look elsewhere and there were graves.

I look down to the right and there it was, it was my mother's grave. I was literally crying at this point but not in sadness, well some, and pretty much leapt at Clint and took him in a hug while saying, "Thank you."

The rest of the day we spent sitting next to my mother, his sister, eating blue ice-cream while just talking. I finally asked the question that's been bugging me.

"How'd you know?" I asked

"Funny thing, in your moms will she very much said to do this, make sure that you ate your ice-cream by her side. I knew that it was important to both you and her and here we are.' Clint gestured around him.

I pulled Clint into another hug and my hand went down moms grave head slowly with tears pricking my eyes.

Clint looked at his watch and said, "Come on I think the teams ready." while starting to stand up

"Where are we going?" I asked

"Now that would ruin the surprise come on." He said leading me out of the cemetery and back to the car where we went to the Avengers Tower.

When we got there Clint made me put the blindfold back on and he lead me to the elevator and I could tell we got off on the kitchen level, I'm not surprised, and when he held me by the shoulders and took of my blindfold in front of me were lots of people, The Avengers, Loki, Fury (he was glaring at Loki though), Maria, May, Phil, and other people that I became friends with.

I was literally left speechless, no one ever done this for me... I had tears pricking my eyes and hugged Clint again saying thanks again.

"Come on Birthday Boy don't we get a hug?" Tony asked

I smiled and detached myself from Clint and hugged everyone including Loki and surprising Fury let me hug him too.

I extra hugged Natasha cause I knew it was her and Clint who mostly put this together she was starting to be like a mother to me and it was nice.

Everyone was talking about and when it came to presents let's say Tony spoiled me lots, it was the cake I was really looking forward too and it was amazing.

The cake itself had a picture of everyone on it, Tony and Steve were arguing, Bruce had his hand on the bridge of his nose looking at Tony and Steve, Fury was glaring at Loki, Phil was next to Bruce talking about something, Loki was pretty much shunning his brother (his back was turned away from Thor) while Thor tried to get his attention, Maria and May were in the back just watching everything happen with neutral faces, while Clint and Natasha were next to me as I showed them something I made on my iPad with happy proud expressions.

It was the best cake and I had to wipe a silent tear from the whole thing that they had done for me. I blew out the candles but my wish wasn't something I wanted it was something to stay the same, "I wish that nothing ever happens to change how my family is in a bad way."

After eating cake I got the PS3 set up and Clint and I started to play Call of Duty. I also got a Wii from Tony and from Call of Duty we started to play Mario Kart with me as baby Mario, Clint as Mario, Natasha as Bowser, and Loki as the skeleton of Yoshi.

Let's say that it was the best birthday party I ever had and I spent it with families. To end the night off we sat back and watched movies, Lion King, Finding Nemo, Toy Story, The Incredibles (Tony picked that one), Despicable Me 1 & 2 along with Minions, I fell asleep though Hugo.

I thought I felt someone pick me up but I wasn't too sure but I know it was really comfy and I went into a deeper sleep into the arms. I also thought I heard a click of a camera but again I was to far gone to know.

The person lead me to my bedroom and I think changed my cloths and then I felt the bed underneath me and a kiss on the forehead and heard Clint say, "Goodnight Percy, happy birthday". I mumbled a, "Goodnight Uncle Clint and thank you" before turning over and falling fast asleep.

Anyway tomorrow I am leaving for camping and will return Friday but don't expect an update until Saturday because I know I'm going to be tired and it may be late. Anyway here is the update for today! :)
