John's P.O.V

So close

We were so close of getting Percy to trust us and follow us here until those four men came around the corner

Speaking of those men Sherlock and I just outran them, Sherlock mostly took short cuts and things like that, and right now we were back at our apartment breathing heavily while laughing a little at how ridiculous this all was.

"Any ideas of where Percy is now?" I asked Sherlock once I got my breath back.

"I stuck a tracker on him." Sherlock said

"You did what?!" I asked astonished

"Even you know what I said, honestly what goes on in a regular person's head." Sherlock said, "It must be so boring."

"You're not on topic." I said already to Sherlock talking about this

"Right! Well, right now Percy is...outside the door." Sherlock trailed off at the end and opened the apartment door where Percy stepped right inside, "I know you're not with those men so who the hell are you." he demanded crossing his arms and tried to look stern.

"Language." I said while Sherlock said, "My name is Sherlock a consulting detective with the police. This here is John and your analysis is quite right about him." He said

"You're a-Consulting. Detective." Percy said slowing looking a bit surprised at how easy it sounded, "I'm guessing it where you're a detective but not a full time one, if they get stuck on a case they come to you?" Percy asked Sherlock who looked a bit surprised a 9 year old got that spot on.

"Yes. Spectacular, you got it correct. Most people would say there is no such thing."

"I'm not most people." Percy said dryly.

"Yes normal people don't have mercenaries after them do they." Sherlock said taking in Percy's appearance as Percy looked around.

"Ca-can I have a shower, I really don't like the hair dye." Now that I really notice he took out his colored contacts and looked a bit out of place.

"I'll show you." I said leading Percy to where the shower was located and gave him the essentials needed.

As Percy was taking a shower I went back downstairs to Sherlock, "What exactly happens now."

"Now we tell Mycroft (His actual brothers name the other one is a different person) that we have Percy and we can get him back to his uncle.

"Sadly it won't be that simple." Mycroft said walking calmly into the room, "You see the government over there is handling a deal with them but so far the mercenaries have backed off, they are working on making sure they stay off. In the meantime you are looking after a 9 year old."

"You can't possible think I know how to take care of a 9 year old." Sherlock said

"Between you and John I'm sure you can find something." Mycroft said as he watched his brother flop onto the couch.

"How long will this last?" I asked Mycroft.

"2 weeks most but it should end by the end of this week."

5 days. 5 days taking care of a 9 year old boy. This is going to be interesting especially with how Sherlock will handle this.
