Percy's P.O.V
It was that night again. The night I last saw my mother. The night I saw my mother's life leave her eyes. I woke with a jolt.
I was sweating and my breathing was a bit reckless and for a few seconds I thought I was still there but paralyzed from the image.
I closed my eyes and regained my breathing but when I opened them I was overcome with shock and practically fell out of the bed, "Dude! Have you never heard of privacy?" I asked shoving sweat pants on and a shirt.
In front of me were Jack, North, Kangaroo, and I assume Tooth Fairy and Sandman.
"Sorry we scare you. Are you ok?" North asked
"I'm fine other than waking up to people standing over my bed and made me think they were going to murder me." I said
"Told you to not stand over the bed." Jack said where he was squatting over his staff in the corner of the room.
"How were we supposed to know the kid was gonna react the way he did?" Kangaroo asked
"Because kangaroo it's when a normal person does." I responded sarcasm oozing into my tone of voice
"What'd you call me." the kangaroo asked as Jack air-fived me.
"I'm sorry do you have a hearing problem?" I asked
"Can we all calm down. What is your name sweetheart you never really said." Tooth Fairy asked and her motherly voice soothed my tense shoulders.
"Percy." I said
"What happened to your chest mate?" Easter Kangaroo asked
"Nothing that matters to you.," I bit back harshly.
Tooth gave the kangaroo a look while Sandman started to make images above his head.
"What Sandy?" North asked
"He asked me if I was ok from the nightmare I was having." I replied easily trying to find my watch, "Jarvis why didn't you wake me up when they actually came into my room." I asked to thin air.
"Mate are you sure your-" Kangaroo was cut off as Jarvis said, "They weren't a threat sir."
"Strangers coming into the tower and into a bedroom in the middle of the night aren't a threat?" I asked the ceiling.
"When I was first installed Mr.Stark told me that they were safe when he brought home strangers." The British but mechanical voice said.
"New rule, don't listen to Stark." I said
"Duly noted sir."
"What was that?" Tooth asked
"An Artificial INtelligence." North said looking like a kid in a candy store.
"That's Jarvis." I said, "Anyway why are you here in the middle of the night in my bedroom by the way?" I asked finding my watch and putting it on while booting it up.
"We were following Nightmares and they disappeared here then we saw that you weren't sleeping well." Jack said jumping off his staff.
"Well im fine." I said while making sure the prototype watch was working well.
"What was your nightmare about?" Tooth asked nicely.
"Doesn't really matter." I muttered not wanting to really talk about it.
Sandy made more images above his head, "Long enough." I replied
"What did he ask?" Bunny asked not paying attention to how fast the images were going.
I hummed a question hum and said, "Oh! He asked how long I was having nightmares." I yelped as the watch fizzled out on my finger and quickly threw it off while I sucked my finger, "Dang." I said hoping the cool air would help the small burn.
"What are you trying to make?" North asked as he picked up my watch.
I stopped sucking my finger once more, "It was a design I made, I press a button and a hologram comes up with data and I could access any camera or satellite I could with a couple of buttons and passwords." I said
"How old are you again?" Tooth asked
"10." I replied
"This is exception for someone your age. Some modifications and you'll be set." north said as he took out some reading sort of glasses and looked at my watch circuits.
"Thanks." I said, "So...what time is it?"
"6 A.M." Jack said
I panicked, "You need to leave."
"Why?"
"Because my uncle will be up soon and unless you want to explain yourself to the government I suggest you leave." I said
North pulled out a snowglobe and smashed it on the floor and before I could complain about the mess they were in the snow globe portal and away.
I began muttering and thinking about how a snow globe shouldn't be able to do that but dismissed it and instead turned back to my bed, shredded my clothing until I was in my boxers and fell back asleep.
