Adventure- Deaged Chapter 8

Sadness Coming Up Beware

That was how Percy ended up sitting in the principles office pouting waiting for Clint to come. Clint got a call while at the tower saying that Percy was in trouble and he was needed.

Clint walked into the door to see the principle there and was looking at a pouting 3 year old black haired Percy Jackson.

"What did Percy do?" Clint asked as he sat down in the other chair that was next to Percy's.

"Young Perseus here got into another fight with a student Jacob Brown and until four days he is suspended I'm sure he can tell you more about what happened." the principle said while looking at Clint then at Percy.

Clint realizing that Percy probably didn't explain anything to the principle  was dismissing him got up and lead Percy out of the building.

It was when they were in the car that Clint called Natasha, "Hey Nat so Percy got in trouble at school and ended suspended but he will return on Tuesday until then he will be home and grounded." Percy said while shooting a look at the miserable kid in the back of the car who slumped even more against the window.

There was still 2 more hours left in school as the three boys looked at the empty spot where Percy sat. They wanted home to let Clint know why Percy did want he did. Until then they didn't know how bad the punishment was.

It also made them mad that Jacob was still there but it gave them satisfaction that he was still holding a tissue against his nose and had red eyes from tears. They kept shooting him glares, the teacher noticed this also the fact that Percy was missing.

But she didn't have time to ask what happened, instead she gave them something to work on and might have given Jacob some harder problems too. She knew that he was a bully was that why Percy was missing and he had a bloody nose?

The car ride was silent for the two in there. Percy's head was up against a wall and when ever Clint tried to talk to Percy he was quiet and never responded, it didn't help that he had a look on his face as if he was somewhere else.

Clint sighed and stopped the car when the tower came into view and they were inside of it. Percy was still silent and when the elevator opened he went straight to his room. Like his actual room there in the tower and told Jarvis to not let anyone in until he said it was ok.

He spent the time in his room crying and kept witnessing his mothers death over and over again while looking at the photo of her that was in the locket that was still around his neck. He cried into his pillow and feel asleep like that, with a tear-streaked face and a wet pillow.

Clint tried to get Percy to open the door but all he got back was silence or a few sniffles, he tried to get Jarvis to open the door but it seemed that the AI listened to Percy at the moment.

Clint sighed as he tried once more. The two hours were almost up and he needed to go pick up the others. Natasha said she would watch and see if Percy would come out and if he did she'd call him.

Clint gave a weak smile and left to get the other kids. When he arrived at the school he saw Bruce and Tony drag a little Thor and Loki behind them as they ran over to him, "Is Percy ok?" Was the first thing that Tony Stark said as they neared.

"I wouldn't know Percy locked himself in his actual room and Jarvis won't open the door." Clint said, "what happened." he said they were starting to walk near the car again but he stopped when he heard Bruce say, "well Jacob Brown a student here picked on Percy and Percy would've been fine if he hadn't said something mean about Percy's mom."

Tony even showed Clint the video which he responded by taking the phone and instead of walking to the car walked to the principles office instead while Steve informed Loki and Thor about what happened.

Loki was beyond furious as he considered Percy a friend while Thor was mad because someone made fun of a friend of his. But they weren't as mad as Clint was.

He told the kids to stay outside the office as he wrangled some angry and calmed slightly. When the principle let him in he talked about how Percy didn't actually start the argument and how he only hit him once more and left it at that.

The principle responded with apologizing and saying that Percy was unsuspended with that Clint left and the last thing he heard was the principle calling Jacob Brown's parent and letting them know that the nose bleed was because he was bullying a child who was 3 but was in his class and that he was suspended until Wednesday.

With that Clint lead the other kids into the car and drove them back to the tower. He also knew that he needed to unground Percy because the kid can only take so much until he brakes and hits something, it happens faster if someone mentioned his mother.

When they got to the tower he walked in and Steve said, "Jarvis you know Percy said that you can listen to me so please let Clint into Percy's room it's for his health."

"Right away sir." With that Clint was let into Percy's room and rushed to the bed where he saw a three year old who had a tear-streaked face and his pillow was still a bit wet.

Clint brushed some hair out of Percy's eyes and started to pet his hair a bit until he felt Percy stir underneath him.

"Hey buddy can we talk." he said calmly to the exhausted child who was clinging onto the lock-it with his mothers picture in it.

"What do you want." Percy said with tiredness and a bit harshness in his voice.

"I got the story from the others and I'm just saying that you are ungrounded and unsuspended." He said while still petting Percy's hair and talking calmly.

"He made fun of mom." Percy said while tearing up and that's when Clint knew that 3 year old Percy was mostly talking.

Clint gathered Percy in his arms and let the child cry into his shoulder as he shushed and told him to let it out. This was really the first time Percy mourned his mother, he never saw it when he was on the Helicarrier.

Percy started to hiccup and Clint just made sure Percy knew he was there, "Don't be down. how bout this, tomorrow you get to get something from the gift shop no matter what." Clint said to the sad boy.

"Really." asked a innocent and surprised child that was in Clint's arms while looking at his uncle with wide eyes.

Clint smiled, "Sure why not but the other may get something two but you," Clint started while poking the child's nose at you, "get to get more things than them because you have had it harder than them this week ok?"

The boy in responded hugged the guy and responded, "Thank you Uncle Clint." Clint's heart stirred this was the first time Percy actually called him his uncle without being sleepy and it warmed his spy heart.

Next bit is about the Zoo. I am loving this more than I thought I would and I plan to do other small one to five chapter with other stories like the Mentalist, Doctor Who, NCIS, maybe meeting Director David in Israel, NCIS LA, and just other things. Just random One Shots on how Percy gets lots of Contacts and friends.
