Epilogue (3/5)

Harry Styles

(this takes place two months after their wedding!)

"You feeling okay?" I ask Audrey with my face burrowed into her neck as I stand curled around her in the kitchen.

She sighs and melts into my hold, "Mhm, just tired. Works been so crazy since we got back."

I hold her closer to me, swaying us gently from side to side. "Go sit down, I'll finish this baby." I press a kiss to the side of her head.

"No it's keeping me warm." She quips shuffling closer to the stove.

"Daddy!" I hear Felix call from the living room. "You're phone is ringing!"

Audrey giggles and pushes me away, "Go, I'm okay. This is almost done anyway."

Ever since our honeymoon, Audrey has been sick constantly. Felix has been oddly clingy with her and Teddy follows the two of them around our flat all day long.

I walk into the living room seeing Teddy on top of Felix and laugh softly at the sight. "What are my boys up to in here?"

"Teds is taking a nap on my tummy. I was reading to him." Felix shows me his open book.

"Were you? He got bored then huh?" I ruffle his hair and he pouts.

"Hey!"

I grab my phone from the coffee table with a snicker, breathing out a sigh of relief when I see Serena's name on the screen and not someone from work.

"Hello?" I say brightly.

"Audrey needs to take a pregnancy test." Serena says immediately.

I cough loudly, scaring Teddy awake. "What the fuck? Hello to you too?" I walk into my office quickly.

"Sorry! Hi! How are you, I miss you guys." Serena says cheerily.

"Uh no. Seri what are you talking about." I pace back and forth.

"Audrey's not on her period." She says plainly.

I blink in confusion. "And you know this how?"

I hear her sigh, "Because Harry, our cycles synced when she moved here. And because the two of you are freaks she's been taking a test every month just to be sure. Didn't she tell you?"

"Seri, I'm so confused what?" I run my hand through my hair.

"God you are dense. I'm on my period, she's not. She was gonna bring Felix over so we could make milkshakes and watch the bachelor. We do it every month! Seriously is none of this ringing a bell?" She bites.

Her words bring a smile to my face as I laugh at how absurd this conversation is. "Okay.... why are you telling me this though?"

"I think she's pregnant."

I laugh again. "Seri come on."

"Noo, listen! Just slip it into conversation casually or something. I have a gut feeling, and she's not answering my texts. Which is so rude by the way, we all know how much I hate texting." Serena explains.

A warm buzz spreads throughout my chest. "Do you actually think she is?" I ask softly.

This time Serena laughs, "I'm kinda surprised you didn't suspect anything. Harry she's been getting sick practically every day since the wedding."

"The wedding?" I say shocked.

"I think you should talk to her, she's been acting a little withdrawn. Regardless, I think something's up. I really just called to check in on you guys. I haven't talked to her in awhile, I was worried." Serena says sadly.
