Little Kai was walking with his sister along the street. They walked around and looked at their neighbors' houses and had fun. The weather was sunny then. Everything was fine until one moment Kai noticed a strange group of people in the distance. He stopped. His instinct told that they had come for a reason. Squeezing his sister's hand, he ran home. Nya didn't understand what was happening.
Kai turned around, they were very close, the future ninja realized that he and Nya would not be able to escape. They both hid around the corner. Kai was very scared and noticed that Nya was almost crying...
- Hush, everything is fine, - he whispered, but it didn’t help.
- We need this girl! - said the man in black very close, - Find her!
- But what does she look like? - another rough voice.
- How do I know?! Nia is her name. Go to all the houses and ask!
Kai's hands trembled, but he understood that no one except him could protect Nya. After waiting for the strangers to move away, he rushed as fast as he could into the blacksmith's shop, taking his sister in his arms.
A little later he heard stomping from behind... It was scary to turn around...
Kai ran past the house, past the neighbors... he ran into the forest. Realizing that he had very little time, he left his sister there... in a huge forest.
- Nya, don't get me wrong...
Nya looked at her brother; due to her age, she did not understand what he was saying. Kai knew this, but these words were important not for her, but for himself.
- Nya, I’ll come back for you, just quietly....
He looked at her, his eyes sparkling with tears, but there was nothing he could do.
- I'll be back, I promise.
Kai left. At first he hesitantly took a couple of steps forward and turned around. Nya started crying. It was cold all around, she was surrounded by tall trees. Kai looked up, sighed heavily, and then ran away, leaving her completely alone. Nya saw her brother's disappearing silhouette. She called him with her cry, but it was too late. She was left alone among the wild, nocturnal and merciless nature. One on one...
Kai ran out, but they were already waiting for him.
- Grab him!
They grabbed him by the arm and he struggled with all his might.

- I won’t go anywhere with you!

- Then where is she? - the woman addressed one of her partners. For a second, Kai felt grip loosen, and he ran as fast as he could...
He no longer remembered how he ended up at home, but he remembered these people forever...
He spied on them through the window, with his heart freezing, making sure that none of them moved towards the forest. The strangers argued for a long time about something, and then left. Kai, despite his wild fear, followed them, he wanted to make sure that they left the village. And when they actually left, he exhaled, but his hands still continued to tremble. Hiding his palms in his pockets, Kai quickly went into the forest. And then the walk turned into a run.
- Nya! - He came to the place where he left her. But Nya wasn't there. Kai fell to his knees and wiped away his tears. He thought that they had taken her, that he had lost her, that it was all over, but... he heard the rustling of branches. Having walked a little further, Kai saw his sister sleeping in the bushes. He carefully took her in his arms, like the most valuable thing on the planet, and carried her home... he pressed her and swore to himself that he would do everything not to lose her...
