10 (English version)

Kai moved his hand, and a metallic sound broke the dead silence. The cold instantly enveloped he from head to toe, making me want to cover myself with a warm blanket that was not nearby. Having opened his eyes, Kai saw nothing. Complete darkness. It seems as if this is a dream, but this thought immediately disappeared as soon as the ninja felt a sharp pain from somewhere behind him, so he didn’t want to get up at all. But this had to be done to understand where he was.With difficulty taking a sitting position, Kai touched his back with his hand, but only made it worse - now with every breath the pain made itself felt. Although this had a peculiar advantage: against the background of this, the headache was practically not felt. Kai became worried because it was still dark. He ran his hands in front of him and around him to try to find something, but all he found was an icy stone wall. The ninja noticed that with every movement he was accompanied by a sound.Later, Kai discovered metal bracelets on his hands, from which there was a chain. He decided to go where the chain led, but to do this he had to stand up. Kai tried to do this without unnecessary movements, trying to breathe as little and slowly as possible. Having walked a couple of steps forward, the chain ended; it was tied to the floor. The ninja ran his hands above his head and felt the closed window. Kai suddenly remembered his element and lit a fire in his hand, blaming himself for not having thought of doing this earlier.The room lit up slightly with a red hue, but it was even smaller than it seemed in the darkness. But ahead, the fire master noticed an iron door. And just when he thought there was a way out, this very door opened. Kai immediately put out the fire in his hand and, with some trepidation inside, waited for whoever came to him.
Man in black - nothing unexpected.
Kai waited for the stranger to say something, but it never happened, so the ninja asked first:
- Who are you? Where are my friends?
But the unknown person only looked him up and down and turned around to leave.
- No no no no, answer me! Where are we?! - the master of fire ran towards the exit, but the length of the chains did not allow him to reach the door, which closed with a wild roar right in front of his nose. Kai slowly sat down on the floor, trying not to touch the wall with his back.
First thought -  have to choose from here.
Second -  need to find friends.
Kai lit the fire again and tried to melt the iron on his hands to free himself from the chains. After a while it was possible to do it. Now nothing prevents him from opening the door, except the lock on the door, but even here his fire came in handy. Before opening the door, Kai sighed, preparing himself for complete surprise.

- Good job, ninja, - said the chief policeman, admiring how all the criminals in black were loaded into police cars...
- Thank you, that’s what ninjas are for, - Lloyd shook the officer’s hand, and the police left for Ninjago City.
- Okay... it wasn’t easy, - Cole yawned. After all, it was already night.
- Yes, and the main thing is that they never took Nya, - Jay smiled, but for some reason Nya was not happy either.
- Guys, where is Kai?
- It would have been more logical to ask you, - Zane said, looking around in search of his friend,-Shouldn’t he have taken you to a safe place?
- We...we argued a little, and I came back to you,-Nya suddenly felt guilty.
- And he never came back, right? - Cole rubbed the bridge of his nose, - Classics of the genre.
- And where should we look for him now? I want to go home,-  Jay also yawned.
- So...don’t panic. He’s probably lost, - Lloyd suggested, although he understood that this was nonsense. - Let’s just look for him.
The search was unsuccessful.

- Maybe he went to get something to eat? - Jay was already exhausted, like the others, - Now I would like to eat and go to bed... eh... dreams.
- Jay, it’s better to think about how to find Kai, and not about food, - Cole said.
- But I can’t think on an empty stomach.
- It’s all my fault,-  Nya began, - If I had listened to him then and gone with him, he wouldn’t have disappeared.
- Don’t blame yourself for this, you didn’t know this would happen, - Lloyd tried to console her, - Zane, did you manage to catch Kai’s signal?
- Unfortunately, no.
- I have no more ideas, - the green ninja exhaled and clenched his fists, - We walked around this entire village and found nothing. Just Nothing.
The friends walked a little further onto a small bridge, which was illuminated by a bright lantern.
- I don’t understand... he couldn’t just disappear like that, - Cole leaned on the handrail and looked into the water.
- There are two options: he was either kidnapped, or he left the village on his own, - Zane said.
- Even if he ran away, where? Home? Just  tired and decided to ditch us? - Jay threw up his hands.
- And if he was kidnapped... for what? - Lloyd wondered and also looked into the river, which shimmered beautifully under the light of the lantern, - Wherever he is, we will definitely find him.
- Wait... - Cole turned sharply to his friends, - All these people were taken away by the police, right? But everyone?
- What do you mean? - asked Nya.
- What if someone managed to escape, and seeing Kai alone, he decided to kidnap him?

- For example, to lure Nia in this way?
