Prince Leonardo's' Virtues

Chapter 9

The light from the sun awoken me and I put my hands up to shield my eyes. My gaze fell next to me to see the space empty. He must have woken early.

I quickly got off the bed and headed to the door. As I pulled the door open slightly I peaked out to see if anyone was there. One of the servants were passing by and I gave her a quick smile as I walked out of the room.

I walked over to his room and I heard muffled voices coming out. The girls must be up already. I pushed the door open and they all stopped talking as they threw daggers at me. My eyes scanned the room quickly, but the Prince was not there.

"Oh look the maid is here-" I heard her say as I walked over to the couch."Where were you?" She asked curiously.

"Not that it is any of your concern but I woke early to take a walk".

I heard her scoff and the others giggled."You got up early to walk? You could have invested your time by making us breakfast". She said smugly.

"Do you ever shut up? You're unbelievably annoying, if I didn't know better I would say you lack attention at home. If you take a look around this is not a elementary school go seek your attention somewhere else".

"Say what you want but you're going home next, no one can stand you especially the Prince". She shot back.

I rolled my eyes as I tried to ignore her.

"The Prince woke me with a kiss this morning" I heard her saying to the girls as they swarmed around her.

"What! So unfair"

"I would love to kiss him" they both said to her.

He woke her with a kiss? She's , but then again I had no way of proving this since he was not there when I woke. I shouldn't be jealous by this, after all he did request my hand in marriage which I persuaded him into delaying. So I should blame myself for any thing that he does until then.

The door for the room pushed open to reveal a shirtless Prince Leonardo. Everyones mouth was hanging open as we all stared at this perfectly toned, Greek god that stood in front of us.I found my self in awe at his hard,lean frame half naked in front of us.

He looked like he was working out as beads of sweat ran down his body. My eyes trailed the beads as they ran all the way down and disappeared at the waistline of his sweat pants. I bit my lips as the picture of my fingers trailing that same line appeared in my head.

My eyes moved back up to his face and he was eyeing me intently and a small smirk etched the corner of his lips.

I felt a ache in the pit of my stomach as his tongue traced his lips, I locked eyes with him again to see him still eyeing me. I took a deep breath to hold myself back from doing something I would regret.

He walked further into the room and a dominant glow was radiating off him."Good morning Ladies I trust that you slept well. Go get changed, your meeting Harvey in the ballroom in fifteen minutes" he said a bit sternly and we all got to our feet instantly.

He walked over to the door that led to his bathroom and entered as we exited his room. We were heading down the hallway and I looked back to notice only Heather and Sam behind me.

I stopped in my tracks as I contemplated going back there, but to do what exactly? He does not belong to me. I just need to know that I'm not setting my heart up to be slaughtered by this handsome being that is Prince Leonardo.

The girls both looked at me as if I was crazy.

"Where is Lacey?" I asked impatiently.

"None of your concern" Heather said instantly.
