Prince Leonardo's' Virtues

Chapter 13

I was sitting in the palace's living room which was too big to be a living room for me while the servants were busy preparing for the wedding.

Since the news had got out about our engagement there's been a swarm of photographers outside the palace.

"Did the people from the planning agency arrive yet?" I heard from behind me.

I turned to see Leonardo standing there looking absolutely stunning." Yes he's in the other room" I replied even though I was still gawking at him.

"He?" And by the way his eyes were slightly narrowed I could tell he was not on board with that.

He turned in the direction of the other room and quickly walked over. I stood up and stormed off behind him.

"What are you doing?" I asked as I caught up to him.

He didn't answer as he pushed the door open to scan the room.

Upon his presence everyone stood.

Talk about commanding a room without saying a word.

He strode in and there was always this dominating aura around him, made me weak to my knees just looking at him.

"You-" he said pointing to the man who was organizing the wedding.

"Prince Leonardo sir-" he began.

"Out" he said sternly.

"Pardon me?-"

"Leonardo what on earth are you doing" I asked hysterically.

"Julianna.." He said in a low growl." You're not needed here, go back to the agency and have them send a woman over, I do not want another man's hand all over my fiancé" he said angrily leaving no room for arguments.

The man quickly packed his things up and I could see the embarrassed look on his face as he exited.

"That was completely rude of you!" I said angrily.

"No it wasn't, it was a bit stern I admit but anything to keep you out of harms way".

"In what way was he possibly going to harm me?". I asked bewildered.

He walked closer to me and lifted his hand to my face and slowly traced a line across my cheeks.

"I didn't want to wait to find out -" he said softly." You have such beautiful freckles, it's another way of reminding me of your innocence".

"It's nice to hear you compliment me on something other than my eyes".

He gave me a small smile as he tilted his head." But your eyes will always be precious to me love, but there are other things I love about you".

"Such as what?" I asked as I crossed my arms in front of me.

"Your lips are quite lusty and tempting" he said as he traced his fingers across them. "I love that you're smart compared to most of the girls your age. You stood out from all the other girls that were here. I didn't miss your little riot with the guards out front that day at my father's feast-"

"You saw that?"

"Yes, in fact I was the one who instructed them to let you in, you have quite a mouth on you and a bit of a rebellious side to you which makes me eager to know what more awaits" he finished as his fingers were under my chin.

"Why does everything you say sound so seductive, you're quite a flirt you know".

He let out a soft chuckle." Maybe I'm trying to seduce you" he said as he tilted his head.
