STORMI

It's been a pretty chaotic Monday. I'm still not used to waking up and not being in my dorm. I woke up this morning dazed and confused and late I might add. I was stressing trying to get ready on time and Landon rushing me wasn't helping.

Tori's comment Saturday triggered me, and I haven't had an appetite since. I've forced myself to eat a few things, so I don't completely go back into my spiral, but I haven't eaten at all today.

Well, this morning was mostly because I was rushing and when Landon asked me between classes what I wanted for lunch I told him I wasn't hungry. I know I need to eat soon though or hours will turn into days before I eat again.

"Can we grab dinner?" I asked Landon as we got into his car to leave the school lot.

"It's only 4" Landon replied, backing out of his spot.

"I know but I haven't eaten all day," I told him.

"Whose fault is that?" He stated flatly.

Mine.

I just sat quietly not knowing what else to say. I played with my fingers, getting anxious at the silence.

"What are you nervous about?" He asked, glancing at me from his peripheral.

"Huh?" How does he know I'm nervous?

"Well?" He looked back towards me.

"I just don't like the silence" I hesitated not wanting to tell him too much.

"Why? It's relaxing" He murmured looking towards the road.

"It forces me to think about stuff" I looked out the window trying to avoid the chance of making eye contact.

"You don't like thinking?" I could hear the tone in his voice like he thought I was full of it.

"If you thought the things I think, you wouldn't like it either" I sighed, turning my head slightly to see him.

Landon looked at me with an unreadable expression. I can tell he's probably judging me.

What could 'miss perfect' possibly not like to think about?

The car stopped and I looked up to see we were at a pizza place.

"What are we doing?" I furrowed my brows.

"You said you were hungry" He opened his door to get out.

"And you said it's only 4" I stepped out with him.

"And?"

I sighed about not having the energy to do this with him today and got out of the car following him inside.

We sat down in a booth and a younger girl about our age came up to the table. I think I've actually seen her around campus.

"Hi, I'm Cece. What can I get you to drink?" She grinned looking at Landon.

"Root Beer" Was all he said.

"I'll have water" I added, and she looked at me and her smile dropped instantly like she just realized I was here.

"With lemon?" She asked.

"No thanks" I rejected quickly.

Most restaurant lemons will test positive for human fecal matter and E coli... I'll pass.

"Be right back with those" She spun around and strutted away like she's in some fashion show.

"Water?" He chided.
