STORMI
We've been back in Rosedale for a few days now and things feel so different. Not only because I had to move in with the boys after getting abducted in Hawaii but I came back without my virginity.
I'm still waiting for Mel to calm down at the fact that I lost it to Landon. She wasn't happy at first but she knows how much it meant to me and I wouldn't have just given it up to anyone.
The boys have been extremely busy and Landon has even missed a couple days of class. They've been alternating with each other to make sure I'm not alone. Myles even waits outside my classes for me.
I've been catching up with Jonah but he still seems extremely withdrawn. I'm not sure what made him switch up with me so early on but I can tell he's extremely different.
On the plus side of everything I finally reached out to Beau and I'm finally going to put a couple hours in at the tattoo shop tomorrow. He said with me being unlicensed I can only work 4-5 hours at a time and I can't actually do tattoos until I get a certification.
I'm cool with any of it as long as I get my hours to graduate.
I finish up my shower and walk out into the bedroom where Landon is on the bed watching tv. I look to see what he has on and it's Spongebob. My favorite.
"You look exhausted," I pointed out to him.
"Exhaustion is how I tell I'm still alive" he joked but it's not really funny.
I climb onto the bed and curl up beside him resting my head on his chest. I've been sleeping in the bed with Landon since we got back. I find that I've been sleeping much better.
Landon's hand that's behind me comes up and he starts twirling a piece of my hair at the bottom. I lightly feel his fingers graze my back as he moves.
"My mom used to tell me that if you're not always tired then you're not doing enough with your life." I remembered a moment from my childhood when I would literally cry after pageants because of how tired I always was.
"That's a load of shit." Landon mumbles.
"Most things that come from her are." I replied.
"Nancy used to tell me if you woke up first thing in the morning and didn't feel refreshed then you are working your body or mind too hard." he recalled a memory.
"Nancy sounds great. Why don't you talk about her more?"
"She's a reminder of my childhood."
"But she's a good reminder." I told him.
"In some ways, yes." Landon is staring at the ceiling.
I know I don't know much about Landon's past but I know who he is now. The feelings I have grown to have for him are much stronger than any I've ever had. At one point I believed I was in love with Austin. But now I know that isn't true.
"You know the cabin I took you to that night." Landon spoke softly.
"Yeah. the one with no AC or Heat." I recall.
"I lived there after I was adopted." My chest squeezed. I realize he's going to open up a bit.
"Myles, Noah and I were adopted by a man named Michael around the same time. He took us there and that's where we trained. We were homeschooled and we ate, slept and breathed the organization." he admitted.
"Was Michael good to you guys?" I remember his past foster families not treating him well and I wonder if Michael was the same.
"I guess." He shrugged. "He didn't live there with us. We were kept a secret. He only came long enough to train us."
