I feel unwanted.

She was different, not in a weird quirky way, but just..simply different. Like the piece of the puzzle you always lost and therefore couldn't complete the puzzle, she was like that..and that was okay, he made sure she knew it was okay, Caroline spent 6 years of her life with her family..'family'. She never felt right with those people, of course she liked their great big house..she liked her clothes, her shoes, her toys and her bed. But something always felt like it was missing, no one had time for her!

Lexy barely interacted with her unless it benefited her..Michelle was always too busy, and only used her daughter as a moral accessory since she was the mayor, and needed something to make her look good in public, something to make her look positive, and influential, thus taking Caroline with her when she was going to a big event or something like that..Nathan was alright, he wasn't the best dad but..he tried, still, Caroline never clicked with him either.

'Maybe this isn't me? I mean..maybe these aren't my people, I don't fit in here.' She would say to herself sometimes..not every single day, but sometimes, "Care, c'mon, talent show is tonight." Lexy spoke in a timid tone, god she sounded like she hated her..she didn't, but Caroline didn't see it that way. "Okay, I like your outfi-" the door closed before she could even finish, it hurt Caroline's feelings..it really did.

She thought Lexy was gorgeous, she even liked her real name too..'Alexandra', how beautiful. She admired her older sister but..the mutual appreciation simply wasn't there. Caroline felt empty almost? She didn't know what to make of her feelings..at all. But she knew one thing for sure, if this void kept eating her alive she would keep feeling this empty anxiety, she didn't like having it either but it was there..Caroline wanted to feel wanted, someone needed to make her feel wanted.
