(Salvatore Boarding School)

Stefanie walked through the halls with Landon, the two talking when a group of students stood in their way, "Excuse me" the boy said as the two tried to pass only for the group to ignore the boy, Jed walking from behind them and up to the two "Hey" he said making the Salvatore roll her eyes as the wolf turned to the group "Show a little respect, these are the people who killed Malivore." he told them, most of them making shocked noises causing the Salvatore to once again roll her eyes as they walked past the students.

"What was that about?" Landon asked turning to the brunette as they walked through the common room where a witch was hanging a banner causing the girl to turn to her friend "I have no idea." she muttered as a student walked up to the two "Hey Landon, can I get your autograph?" he asked the girl looking at him confused as the boy signed the book "Is that a phoenix?" she asked glancing at the illustration.

"That was weird right?" the curly haired boy asked as the teenager walked away, the witch furrowing her brows "Very" she spoke, Josie walking up to the two with a smile "Hi" the boy said awkwardly "Hey, so you're popular now." his girlfriend responded, the boy putting his hands in his pockets "Of course, why wouldn't I be?" he said sarcastically "Uh, too popular to still take me to dinner tonight?" the girl questioned, as Stefanie spotted Cassy talking to Kayla making her smile as she turned back to her friends "I'll see you guys later." she told the two before walking towards her girlfriend and roommate.

"What are they doing?" Cassy asked her friend who turned in the direction she was talking about and seeing Josie go into kiss the boy who instead went to hug her causing them to switch before giving each other a very awkward hug, the brunette tilting her head slightly before turning back to the girls "Do you guys know what I have first, I've lost my timetable." she grumbled, her girlfriend handing her a piece of paper "Figured you'd need a new one, so I went to Dorian before." she told the girl with a laugh making Stefanie beam "Thank you." she said pecking a kiss on the girls cheek who blushed slightly.

"This school has survived a difficult year, there were monster and Triad, and frankly, the headmaster you trusted to keep you safe ended up putting you in more danger." the new headmaster spoke in an assembly that morning, the brunette rolling her eyes from beside her girlfriend.

"But, this year will be different, it's high time this place ran with a little discipline and order, I expect you to work harder than ever before, to be rigorous, to push yourselves to be perfect, because I believe every one of you us extraordinary." he continued, Stefanie turning to Kayla "Is he serious." she muttered before turning back to the man as he spoke again "The students in this room have the power to literally change the world."

"To whom much is given, much is required, and I am requiring of you to be better than humans ever could." he says the Salvatore having to hold back a laugh as she glanced a few rows back where the twins sat with similar expressions. "Because the day is coming when we will step out of the shadows, when you will no longer hide yourselves." he says walking past the rows raising his voice slightly.

"Because the future is....." he says banging his cane on the floor, a burst of blue magic coming forth, the cane standing on its own as the man walked back to the podium, students clapping as Lizzie shot her friend a look.

"To that end, I would like to award our Salvatore Medal of Freedom to the students who singlehandedly defeated Malivore Mr Landon Kirby and Miss Stefanie Salvatore." he announced, both looking up confused as the boy walked towards the man, Kayla practically shoving her girlfriend to her feet who reluctantly followed after her friend as people around them clapped, a witch sending the boy a look who completely ignored her.
