Vivian's POV

The fight between felines ended shortly after Koyou had sneezed on Salem so abruptly. The day after, Koyou went right back to bed, still sick once again. Not only did I nag Koyou yesterday but I also Salem. Who was laying sick just like Koyou.

Just a couple days after the cat fight I found him lying on the ground. He too was sick... I took him in my care, feeling bad that he got sick due to Koyou sneezing on him.

During the passing days with two sick felines in my hold. Everyday has been really chaotic. With the two feline beastmen arguing with each other like siblings. I would have been teaching them to behave properly. Their non-stop arguments were too loud. The only way I could stop them from fighting was either by smacking their heads or making threats.

I came to the conclusion that they both did not despise each other that much. Their relationship was like siblings fighting. Salem blamed Koyou for getting him sick but Koyou who was also sick fought back.

"Food's ready" I said.

Right now, Koyou and Salem had just woken up after their nap. I came towards them holding two plates filled with food. It had bread, roasted meat and simple chicken noodle soup in a bowl.

Both of them thanked me and they immediately began eating. I remember at the beginning I had to force them to eat. Both of them were reluctant and due to their pride as a beastmen they refused to believe they were sick. It was like they refused sickness even though I clearly told them they WERE sick!

Even if they are five marked beastmen, no one can outrun sickness.

When I took care of these two sick felines. I have learned many things about Salem. The first time I met him, I thought of him as a thug who wanted to rob me! With his black eyes looking coldly at me I thought he had evil intentions.

But that wasn't the case. For a couple of days, I have discovered that his cold and quiet persona was not his true personality. He used his stare as a barrier. I found out that Salem was not cold but actually a shy and kind jaguar.

He was more well mannered and behaved than my husband. Who was still, nonetheless acting like a needy kitty whenever I try to do anything that involves Salem. Koyou gets jealous even if I talk to Salem.

Especially this very moment, Koyou's arms are tangled around my waist as he growls at Salem. Both of them sat down on their own bed at a fair distance away from each other. Even though I wasn't all that close to Salem, Koyou still glared at him.

"Baby, don't stare at him! Look at me, I'm your husband" he said with envy.

Suddenly, I felt a strong pull from Koyou's large hands. He tangled his arms around my body like prison bars. I was pulled over to his bed as he began his attack with multiple kisses right on my cheeks!

"Koyou!" I said with a pouting face.

I yanked his black hair or whatever I could grab. I wanted to teach him a lesson. He was acting more childish than usual.

(TIME PASSED)

The next morning, I woke up surprisingly early. Usually, Koyou is the first one up, but he was sick. Both sick cats were still sleeping in their spot. I yawned, stretched, and went to the small kitchen to prepare breakfast before they woke up.

I gathered everything I needed and started by chopping sausages and leftover dried meat. With a strong fire in the stone fireplace, I decided to make a simple but filling breakfast, including fried rice, eggs, and meat.
