JEDEDIAH POV:
The crowd did toss the nuts and sweets back. We continued tossing stuff to each other until we made it to Octavious' house.
"The groom is suppose to pick up the bride and carry her inside but this is my house so I think it's best I carry you inside" said Octavious.
"Okay" I said.
Octavious picked me up and I wrapped my arms around him to hold on. Why am I actually into this man carrying me. I tried not to stare or blush as we made it inside. Octavious set me on my feet.
"Everything okay, you seem red in the face" said Octavious.
"Yes" I said blushing more.
Octavious smiled and ran his fingers threw my hair. Everyone else came inside and there was another tradition that we did before having a meal together. There was lots of wine and other food for everyone to eat. After the meal everyone left and Octavious took me to his bedroom.
"That is it for the wedding. So now we will go to daily life as a Roman. Since I am a general I figured you could join the military" said Octavious.
"Okay, and when can a couple first do the 'stuff' after the wedding" I asked.
"I mean, there isn't really a exact preference. As long as the couple concieve a child within the time frame I don't think anyone really cares" said Octavious.
"Good" I said.
I held Octavious against the wall.
"Because I'd like to do some stuff to you" I said.
After the "stuff" was finished we left the house and went to work. Octavious took me to where the warriors train.
"EVERYONE, LISTEN UP" Octavious yelled.
Everyone gathered around so they can hear Octavious.
"First, does anyone have a spare sword that they can lend to my lovely now husband" asked Octavious.
A warrior grabbed a spare sword they had and gave it to me. Octavious continued with the speech. He ordered a few soldiers to guard different places and the rest of us will train. I fought a few warriors with a sword which I was pretty good at. There was also archery as well and pretend battles to fight in. Finally the jobs were over the night.
"You did pretty great Jed. Maybe I should hire you for real" said Octavious.
I laughed a little as we walked.
"As much as I would love to work here for you I think those boys need me over at the old west. They'd be lost with out me" I said.
"Perhaps" said Octavious.
We made it to what looked to be a pool room. I was actually surprised. I didn't know they had a pool here.
"Wait, you have a pool" I asked.
"It's a bath actually but yes" said Octavious.
All the Romans were here and were enjoying the pool. I then noticed that they were all naked. Boys and girls. I covered my eyes until I faced the other way.
"What are you doing" asked Octavious.
The old west people were just as shocked and weird out as me.
"They are all naked" I said.
"What's the problem" asked a Roman.
"You're all naked" said a cowgirl.
"And" said a Roman.
"People bath naked here" said Octavious.
"Well we do to but not together. I can't be looking at all these naked people I'm married now" I said.
"Well I'm not" said a man.
He stripped and walked over to join the Romans.
"YO WHAT UP PEOPLE" the man yelled before jumping in.
"Its not cheating Jedediah. Everyone baths naked and it's also a great time to socialize" said Octavious.
"I understand the social part but I'm not being naked for everyone to see" I said.
"Then leave your underwear on or you can wait outside" said Octavious.
