OCTAVIOUS POV:
I came to life at night and was excited to see my boyfriend. That is until I saw a box sitting on the bench. The Romans were just as confused as me. I ran to find Jedediah. I need to see him. The box is titled Museum of Natural History. I finally climbed into the old west section and saw Jedediah.
"Octavious" said Jedediah as we ran up to each other.
We ran up to each other and wrapped our arms around each other in a hug. I closed my eyes and Jedediah put his face in my shoulder. If we are moved then this will be our last night together. We don't talk about it but when we went to the Smithsonian Jedediah cried on our last night so I hugged him till the sun rose. Then we got frozen in a cuddling position.
"Did you hear anything about what that box is for" I asked.
"No" said Jedediah into my shoulder.
We heard footsteps and Larry entered.
"Oh, good you're up" said Larry.
We all turned to look at Larry who doesn't even seem all that upset.
"Gigantor, just in time to welcome us to our last night alive" said Jedediah as he tried to hide the tears.
We still had a arm wrapped around each other.
"What, no, it's not your last night alive" said Larry.
We all went from sad to happy but mixed with confusion.
"Why would you all even think that" said Larry.
"There is a box on the bench over there" I said pointing.
Larry looked at it before looking back at us.
"Oh, ya, I know, it's sorta last minute" said Larry.
"What is it? Is it new people" asked Jedediah.
"No, as you know the world knows you come to life every night. So, there is a museum of mini figures in Alaska. The museum agreed to test how the coming to life thing works but they want to borrow you and the tablet" said Larry.
The others started to talk about it a little. I looked at Jedediah who seemed okay with.
"So, we are going to Alaska" said Jedediah.
"I personally don't see what the question is. I mean the sunsets and the tablet brings us to life. The sun rises and we go back to sleep. As long as we are inside" I said.
"Yes but what if the sun doesn't rise" asked Larry.
"Well the weather doesn't matter. Rain, snow, hurricane, it's still day" I said.
"True but the sun still rose in those cases. As you know the earth is round and has different seasons" said Larry.
"Right" said Jedediah.
"So during winter the north pole will not get any sunlight at all but during the summer the sun will never set. Now in Alaska in about two months of this. So since it's winter the test is if the sun doesn't rise in what we humans consider day do you all still freeze" asked Larry.
"I didn't even think about that" said Jedediah.
I looked at Jedediah.
"I suppose it's worth looking into. Plus there are going to be other exhibits there" I said.
"Ya, just as long as we don't have to go threw Pompeii again" said Jedediah.
We looked back at Larry.
"What about the other exhibits" I asked.
"Akmenrah will be going with you since it is his tablet but the others will be staying here. Now if the coming to life is affected by the sunlight pattern there then you will come back in the spring. But if it does then you will stay during the summer as well and be back in the fall" said Larry.
"Okay, I must say I am interested in testing this myself" I said.
