Ch.14: Hellhound and Kiba's Awakening

3rd Person POV

Raizo soon regrouped with everyone back at the school. When he got there, Sona and the rest of the student council combined their strength to make a barrier around the entire school.

Sona: We've covered the entire school with a protective barrier. If nothing drastic happens, I should prevent anything within it from getting damaged.

Rias: Thank you, Sona. This means so much.

Sona: Understand that this will only work if the conditions remain the same.

Rias: Understood.

Tsubaki then arrived and informed everyone that Irina was doing ok. Everyone then wondered where Kiba and Xenovia are. They haven't been heard from since they ran off to chase Freed and Valper.

Sona: I'll keep the barrier up, but I might not keep the school from collapsing. As much as I prefer to avoid it.

Sona then looks at Raizo:

Sona: Raizo. I know you plan to take on Kokabeil. When you do, please try to keep from destroying the school.

Raizo: I'll try, Sona. But, when it comes to battle, I won't be able to keep from breaking a couple of things. Thought I won't intentionally try and break anything.

Sona: *sighs* I guess that'll have to do. And Rias, it's still not too late to contact Sirzechs.

Rias: You know what I don't see? You trying to contact your big sister.

Sona: With good reason too. Sirzechs loves you. You know he would want to assist us. There's no doubt that he'd come here as soon as you called him.

Akeno: There's no reason. I've already contacted Sirzechs.

Rias: How could you do that without asking me first?!

Akeno: Look Rias, I understand that you don't want to bother your brother unless we absolutely must. Our enemy is a Cadre class fallen angel. He's not someone you can take on your own. And even thought Raizo, Kuroka and Ahri are here to assist us, wouldn't it still be a good idea to have as much backup as possible?

Raizo: (Akeno's right. When it comes to individuals like Kokabeil, it's smarter to have as many options as possible. Plus having Sirzechs here as a witness will act as a bonus for me.)

Rias: *sighs* Fine.

Akeno: *smiles* I thank you for your consideration, President. Sirzechs is on his way. I believe that his forces should arrive here in just about an hour.

Rias: Good grief, girl. I cannot win against you, can I? Should be a fun hour.

Raizo looked at both Kuroka and Ahri. He noticed that they both seemed a bit nervous.

Raizo: You two okay?

Ahri: Yeah, just a bit nervous is all.

Kuroka: We're going against Kokabeil. I mean, sure, we've sparred together in the past, but... I don't know, this fight feels more real.

Raizo: That's because it is. Listen, no need to worry, just trust in your instincts, and you'll be fine. And remember, you both got me watching your backs out there.

This calmed them down a bit, as they both now had smiles on their faces.

Kuroka/Ahri: And we have yours!

The three shared a kiss before they made their way to the rest of the group. They all made their way to the track field to see a golden pillar of light.

Asia: What in the world is that?!

Kokabeil: It seems the four Excaliburs have been made into one.

Everyone looked up to see Kokabeil sitting on a makeshift throne in the sky.
