Ch.11: Church Duo

Raizo POV

It's the morning of the next day, and Kuroka, Shirone, Ahri and myself are walking to school. I had informed Kuroka and Ahri about what Azazel and I talked about last night. I'm keeping Shirone in the dark for now, because I can't ask her to keep secrets from Rias. Although I have a feeling that everyone will be made aware of the situation real soon

On our way to school, we actually ran into Kiba.

Raizo: Yo, Kiba!

Kiba turned around and looked at us.

Kiba: Raizo? Good morning, everyone.

We all said good morning to Kiba.

Raizo: How're you feeling?

Kiba: I'm alright.i had a lot of time to mull over some stuff yesterday. I'm good.

Raizo: That's great, man. I'm sure everyone else will be really excited to see you back.

Kiba: Fingers crossed. I miss anything yesterday?

Raizo: Just that from now on, until the holy sword situation is resolved, Rias wants all of us to go straight home after a meeting.

Kiba:... I see...

Timeskip

It's the end of the school day, and Rias has asked all of us to come to the ORC room.

When we got there, Rias was sitting at her desk with an annoyed look on her face. When I asked her what was wrong, she told me that two members of the church would be coming soon. Based on recent events, Rias deducted that they want to talk about the Excalibur fragment.

So I was right in them already being here. And it makes sense for them to wanna talk to Rias. She is one of the owners after all.

A few minutes pass, and the door opens revealing two girls wearing white robes. One of the girls has chestnut brown hair tied into twin tails, and violet eyes. And the other has blue hair with a green streak, and dark yellow eyes. The blue haired girl was also carrying a large object wrapped in cloth.

Without saying a word, Rias got up from her desk and walked over to the couch. She then motioned for the two to sit across from her. The two sat down and introduced themselves.

Xenovia: Thank you for agreeing to speak with us today. My name is Xenovia.

Irina: And I'm Irina Shidou.

Raizo: (Irina. So she's the same girl from Issei's picture. Must be pretty awkward to find out that your childhood friend is now a devil.)

Rias: Before we begin, I could take a crack at why you want to speak with a devil. Does it have to do with the fact that an Excalibur fragment appeared here recently.

Irina: It does actually. You see here's the thing, there are six swords we can account for. Three of them are still with the church, but we happen to know that the other three were stolen by fallen angels.

Rias said nothing, while Xenovia started to speak.

Xenovia: These are from the ones we have left.

She referred to the large object, which turned out to be another fragments of Excalibur. The Sword of Destruction. Irina then pointed to a ribbon she was wearing. Saying it was The Sword of Mimicry.

Rias: So what is it you would like for us to do?

Xenovia: Stay completely out of it. This is between us and the fallen angels.

Rias: That's where you're wrong. You see, one of mine was attacked, and nearly killed by a stray priest who was wielding an Excalibur. Excalibur Rapidly to be exact.
