Ch.13: Kokabeil

Raizo POV

We all met up with the church duo to get our plan going. Once we got there, it was decided that we would dress up as priests to try and lure Freed out. Since he's going on a priest killing spree, this should work.

Saji: A devil actually put on a priest clothes.

Irina: Not without kicking and screaming about it.

Xenovia: I think we'll be more efficient in three groups. Let's split up.

Issei: Sounds like a plan to me. We'll take on the east.

Xenovia: Then Irina and I will conduct our search in the west part of town.

Raizo: Kuroka, Ahri and I will search the North.

Xenovia: If you see anything at all, call the cell.

Issei: Understood.

Everyone bid each other good luck, and we all went our separate ways.

We made it to the north side of town, and right now, we're just walking around, waiting for Freed to take the bait.

Kuroka: Do you think this is actually gonna work? Seems a little too obvious if you ask me.

Raizo: As of right now, this is all we have to go on. Freed is running around hunting priests. So it just might work.

Kuroka: Here's hoping. I don't wanna be wondering around all night.

About 30 minutes pass, and we still have no luck in luring out Freed. But then, Kuroka's phone goes off, and it's a text from Shirone.

Kuroka: They found Freed!

Raizo: Where are they?

Kuroka: At an abandoned warehouse on the eastern edge of town.

Raizo: Alright, let's go!

We wasted no time, and rushed off to their location. Once we got there, we saw Xenovia in a blade lock with Freed.

Raizo: What'd we miss?

Shirone: Raizo. Big sis. Ahri.

Saji: Alright, there here!

I look up and see Kiba about to attack Freed from behind, but Freed slips out of the way and lands next to an old man, who I assume is Valper Galilei. Valper looks at Freed and tells him that the need to fall back due to being outnumbered. Freed takes one of his buttons on his coat and throws it on the ground, creating a flash and disappears.

Issei: Damn! He got away!

Xenovia: Irina, let's go!

Xenovia, Irina and Kiba take off after them. I tried telling them to stop, but they already vanished into the treeline. Issei tried to follow after them, but I stopped him at least.

Issei: What's the big deal?! Why are we not going after them?!

Raizo: Forget it, Issei. They've already got away. If we try following them now, we'll just be running around in the dark.

Rias: He's right, Issei.

Everyone looked behind them to see Rias, Akeno, Sona and Tsubaki appear out of magic circles.

Issei/Saji: Rias/Sona?!

Rias: Running around blindly won't do us any good. We need to regroup and come up with another solution.

Issei: R-Right.

With that, the remain people returned to the school to discuss another plan.
