This is the rewrite version of my previous story, "The Yokai".
Raizo Tachibana is the son of Yasaka Tachibana, and older brother of Kunou Tachibana. He's a Kitsune born with 10 tails as opposed to the usual 9, and is therefore considered an anomaly...
Raizo and Kokabeil stared at each other intently. Raizo then started walking towards Kokabeil. Kokabeil is still sporting a cocky grin on his face.
Kokabeil: I must say, I'm impressed. The power radiating off of you is simply incredible. But tell me, why do you waste your talents fighting for a group of losers who don't even realize they've lost their master?
Raizo then stopped in his tracks, and everyone's attention was now on Kokabeil.
Rias: Care to explain?!
Kokabeil: Whoops, that's sorta just slipped out. Hehehe, oh well, I am trying to start a war, so why the hell not. In the previous three way war, God was actually killed alongside the four great Devil Kings!
This shocked everyone except Raizo. Since he already knew from Azazel.
Xenovia: No way... God's dead?!
Rias: God has been dead?! How is that possible?! Your lying! I've never heard anything about that!
Kokabeil: Back then, the devils lost all of their kings and most of their high level devils. The angels and fallen angels lost almost everyone, except for their leaders. Pure angels could not increase their numbers, and pure bred devils are just as rare, aren't they?
Asia: It's not true! It can't be!
Kokabeil: All sides have been ruined to the point where they have to rely on humans to survive. Angels, Fallen Angels, Devils. The leaders of The Three Factions had to seal away this information. So that way the God fearing humans kept on fearing.
Xenovia then fell to her knees with a look of utter shock, and fear in her eyes.
Xenovia: No! Lies! They're all lies! It's not true!
Kokabeil: Now, try to remember, I couldn't care less about any of that! What drives me crazy, is the fact that after God and those devil kings died, it was decided to stop the war!!! Why would they do something like that in the middle of winning?!?! How dare they try to keep me from squashing my enemies just when it was getting fun!!! We would've won! Even that bastard Azazel declared there would never be another war! WHAT THE FUCK!!!
Asia: God doesn't exist anymore...?! Then...where is the love that has been given to us coming from?!
Kokabeil: Heh, Michael has been holding his own so far. He's the one that's been keeping the Angels and Humans together in God's stead.
Xenovia: The Arch Angel Michael is acting as God's agent?! That means...all our prayers...
Kokabeil: As long as the system works, prayer and exorcisms will endure to a certain extent. I'm sure someone has been listening.
Upon hearing this horrible news, Asia fainted. She was about to hit the ground, but Issei caught her.
Issei: Asia!
Xenovia: It's a natural reaction. I'm surprised that I can still think right now.
Kokabeil: Well, I suppose knowing the number of believers in God has drastically dropped probably doesn't help, does it? But, without anyone to manage the balance between good and evil. It's no wonder that something contradictory like the Holy Devil Sword would appear. Which means the war must continue. And I'll keep it going by taking your heads if I ha-
Before he could finish, Raizo appeared in front of Kokabeil and delivered a punch to the face, followed up by a kick that sent Kokabeil flying.
