This is the rewrite version of my previous story, "The Yokai".
Raizo Tachibana is the son of Yasaka Tachibana, and older brother of Kunou Tachibana. He's a Kitsune born with 10 tails as opposed to the usual 9, and is therefore considered an anomaly...
We've been on this train for about 2 hours now, so we should arrive at Kouh soon. I look to my left and see Ahri fast asleep, leaning on my shoulder. I look at Kuroka to see her reading a book.
Raizo: It shouldn't be too long until we reach Kouh.
Kuroka looks up at me and puts her book down.
Kuroka: Your right. I've been down here before.
Raizo: Ahh, that's right. The Gremory Heiress first arrived here about a year ago. I assume you came over here to check on Shirone?
Kuroka: Yep. And I'm glad she's doing alright.
Raizo: Are you excited to finally reunite with her?
Kuroka: I am. But, I'm also kinda nervous as well. I just hope she's not too upset with me for not returning sooner.
Raizo: I think she'll be too happy to see you, to be upset about anything.
Kuroka: You think so?
Raizo: Of course... Let me ask, does she think you're dead?
Kuroka: No. Last time I went to check on her, she was having a conversation with Rias, and I came up in the conversation.
Raizo: What did she say?
Kuroka: Shirone mentioned my name, and she wondered how I was doing. Rias then asked if she was sure that she didn't want to search for me. She said no, as she could feel in her heart that I was okay, and happy where I was, just like she was.
Raizo: In that case, you have nothing to worry about. Like I said, she'll be too happy to be upset about anything.
Kuroka: Yeah. You're right.
Suddenly, an announcement is made that we were approaching Kouh's train station. I turn to Ahri and begin to wake her up.
Raizo: Ahri, it's time to wake up.
Ahri: *groggily* Mmmm, are we there yet?
Kuroka: We're close.
A few minutes pass, then the train comes to a stop. We grab our things and exit the train to see the town of Kouh. I turn to look at Kuroka and Ahri.
Raizo: Alright, I got a house for us to live in while we're here. It should already be furnished, so we won't have to worry about that.
They both nodded and we made our way to the address. When we arrived, we saw a nice looking house.

Kuroka: This is a cozy looking place.
Ahri: I agree. I like it.
Raizo: I know it's no mansion, but it's more than big enough for the three of us. Anyways, let get settled in.
