Chapter 21: But I Swear That I Will Never Leave~

When the bell rang, I quickly hurried out of the classroom, and walked outside, where Vic was waiting for me in his car. I got in, and said "Hi."

Then quickly pulled my seatbelt on.

Vic raised an eyebrow and asked "You alright?"

I nodded and said "Oh man, you could not believe what I just witnessed!!"

He laughed and asked "What happened?"

"I just caught the guys who beat me up, together I the bathroom! The guy with the long hair, he was blowing the other guy!!"

His eyes went wide and he asked "Are you serious?"

I nodded and said "Yeah!! But they saw me and came after me, but I got away."

His smile faded and he said "Oh no they don't...They will not touch you, or so help me I will beat the shit out of them."

"Vic, I gotta finish school here..And I'm not moving again."

"Kellin, I don't want you to get hurt again...I can't bear to see you get hurt, it's just...I can't...I just can't."

I grabbed his hand and said "Vic...I'll be alright...I turn 18 in a few months, I'll graduate, and everything will be okay...It could be just you and me."

He sighed and said "Alright fine...But if they hurt you, I'll hurt them worse. Alright?"

I smiled and said "Okay."

He nodded and said "Good, now let's go home. Your moms working late again tonight, and I want some private time with my baby." That's when he started driving.

I smiled, but my smile faded a little..I know I don't want my mom finding out about Vic and I, but I miss her...I miss hanging out with her, laughing with her, I miss her smile, I miss her dorky laugh and when she snorts when she laughs too hard...I miss my mom...I'm afraid she's gonna be just like my dad, and leave and never come back.

That's when tears started rolling down my cheeks, and Vic noticed.

"Kellin? Kellin baby, what's wrong? Why are you crying?"

I shook my head and said "Nothing...Nothing, I'm fine."

"Kellin-"

"Really Vic, I'm fine." I said, snapping at him.

I know he wasn't convinced, but he didn't press it and just dropped it.

The rest of the ride, we stayed silent, and when we got home, I walked inside and walked right up to my room.

I could hear Vic behind me, but I didn't care. I closed my door and crawled onto my bed. I laid down and curled in a ball, before crying.

Vic knocked on my door and asked "Kellin? Kellin please baby, let me in."

I didn't answer and he knocked again. "Go away." I said, just loud enough for him to hear.

He opened the door anyway and I groaned. I heard the door close and next thing I know, I felt the bed tip and a pair of tan arms wrapped lovingly around me.

He pulled me into his chest and asked "Baby, what's wrong? Please tell me, I don't wanna see you upset.

I closed my eyes and turned around in his arms until I was nose to nose with him. I opened my eyes and said "I'm scared everyone I love is gonna leave me like my dad did...My moms been gone so much, I'm scared she won't come back."

Vic sighed and said "Kellin, you know your mom loves you...You're her world...You're my world too, and so is she."

I looked up at him and asked "You really mean that."

He nodded and said "Of course I do...I know I'm cheating on your mom with you, but I still love her. I love you both. Kellin it's not your fault that your dad left you guys, that was his mistake. I don't know how a heartless man could walk out on his beautiful family."

He gently lifted my chin up until his eyes were boring into mine, and he said "Kellin, I will never leave you. I will never walk out on you or your mom. I'll stay as long as you want me to...I'm in love with you, Kellin Bostwick..I'm in love with you, and I swear to you that I will always make you happy."

I smiled and more tears came to my eyes..He loves me. "I can't promise that things won't be broken, but I swear that I will never leave you...And if I break that promise, may God send me straight to Hell, because hurting you is worse than Hell."

He brushed my tears away and said "I love you, Kellin..With all my heart..And I promise, I will always be a part of your life..I will give you love when you want and need it, and your space when you want to be alone. I know I've been hurting your mom by doing this with you, but she deserve better than me...But I do not want to screw this up with you."

I smiled and said "I love you too." I kissed him and said "Like you said, we can't promise that things won't be broken...But we'll fix it when it happens...I love you."

He held me tighter and said "I love you too."

And we just laid there together, talking, laughing, and kissing..We did all that, before I fell asleep in his arms.

I love this man.
