Awakening:

Rin stood nude in the center of the destruction. The forest around him had been reduced to ash. Blue flames flickered across his skin. Rin brought his hands up and looked at them. His nails had turned to claws. He felxed his hand, retracting the claws in and out several times. The fur on his tail was white, thicker, fuller. Rin moved his hands to his head and felt to small horns. He ran his tongue over his teeth, they were longer, and sharper. In all his naked Glory, he was stunning. He felt complete.
Maphisto stood the edge of the chard remains of the clearing. He cautiously took a step forward. Rin turned and faced him. Eyes of solid blue fire met his. "Samuel" that one word made him feel something he hadn't felt in a long time. Fear. This was the true drak prince of Gahanna. His prince, his king. This was power absolute. And he was nothing compared to it. "I was everything, anywhere, any time, all at once. I understand now, Assiah and Gehenna were meant to be mine. You sealed me away. You made me weak." Maphisto swallowed slowly. A drop of sweat dipped down his face. "I had no choice. Satan would have destroyed you. So I hid you and your brother." "Yukio." Rin said softly. "Something is wrong with Yukio. Samuel, what is wrong with Yukio and where is Amiamon? Maphisto Hesitated. "Speak!" Rin roared. Rins power poured from him. The air became thick, hard to breathe. It was crushing. Maphisto fell to his knees. A Circle of blue flames appeared around them. Rin started walking toward him. Maphistos tongue felt like lead but he managed say "the order has them". A deep resonating growl left Rins mouth. Rin pulled back some of his power. Maphisto took in a deep breath but was still being crushed by Rin power. "Tell me what happened to Yukio?" "He burst into flames at the same time as you. He burned down half the school. Killing three students and one teacher. We found him collapsed in the rubble." Maphisto stated. Suddenly Rin had him by the throat. Flames exploded around him, he screamed. The flames scorched his skin. Rins voice was deep and terrifying. "Tell me where yukio is." Maphisto couldn't answer, his throat burned beyond speech.
Shea voice echoed across the clearing "My prince, that is no way to treat a king. King Amiamon taught you better." Shea was on her knees outside the ring of fire. Head bowed. Her body was trembling. Rin paused, looked at her, then back to Maphisto. "All of the ba'al belong on their knees at my feet. Especially him. He was supposed to protect us. I can feel Yukio's pain. And Amiamon...." He dropped Maphisto on the ground and stepped back. The Circle of flames dissipated. Rin scanned the ground. Shea walked up to him. "This is what your looking for" she opened up her hand to reveal the willow maids tear Amiamon had given him. Rin took it from her hand. It still faintly smelled of earth, of Amiamon. It calmed him. The fire in his eyes fading away.
Mephisto got to his feet. He was still weak but he could stand. Rin turned back toward him. He voice laced with anger. Power dripping from every word "Samuel, I will not leave them to the mercy of the order. You failed to protect them. You will help me get them back or you will suffer the same fate as as the ones who took them. "And what fate is that" Maphisto asked. "The same one they gave to me." Rin replied. All of Maphistos plans had fallen apart. The order had betrayed him. He had stood against father. He had risked everything. Rin was his salvation. "Will you forsake Assiah as well? "The sins of the few do not represent the whole. Without you I would not of known my brother. For that I thank you. I will create a world where he is safe." Maphisto let out a breath he didn't realize he was holding. "Then I will follow you."
