The council:

"Yukio will face the council later today. Maphisto informed.  "Then I will go before the council. Maphisto, I want you to disable your keys. I don't want them to be able escape with Yukio and Amaimon. I will burn them all if that's what it takes to save them. Rin answered. "I failed to protect my king," Shea stated. "I'm coming with you."
The courthouse was loud and full of people. People saying "kill that demon" "he tricked us" "he is a demon like brother" "All had guns ready if something goes wrong. Rin, Maphisto and Shea entered silently. Rin saw his friends in the crowd. Of course they would be here. They care about Yukio too. He wished he could talk to them, explain everything but there wasn't time. He summoned Nee to him. Rin spoke to him. “Nee, my friend. I need you to protect all of them. My friends. Do you understand. “Nee Nee!” “Do not fail me.” “Nee, Nee!”
Introductions were made and everyone sat down quietly. Paladin Angel spoke loud and clear "we're here today to judge Yukio Okumera. He tricked us into believing he was human. Our foolishness has led to the death of four people. Rin stepped out of the crowd and moved to the center of the room. “Please return to your seat.” Angel instructed. Rin pulled back his hood back and unraveling his tail. People gasped and whispered amongst themselves. “demon, you should be dead.” Angel cried. “My name is Rin Okuomra and I've come to offer you a wager.” “and what would that be?” One of the council members asked. “I leave here with Yukio and Amaimon or you die.” Rin answered. “Don't threaten us, demon.” Angel snarled. “I thought you liked gambling on people's lives.” Rin said calmly. The people in the crowd began to slowly reach for their guns. “ I am giving you the chance that you did not give me, life. I offer you a future free of fear and hatred. Do not deny me.” Rins power spilled across the room  in a warm wave. The council whispered amongst themselves, then spoke. “you should have been killed at brith. There will be no more deals. We do not fear you. You and your brother will both receive the judgment you deserve. bring in the prisoner."
Two men entered, carrying Yukio. His feet dragged useless behind him. His arms bound behind his back. A silver collar around his neck. Several fingers stuck out at wrong angle. One eye swollen shut. It looked like his jaw was broken. And his body had many burns. Probably from holy water. He had been tortured.
A deep resonating growl, laced with anger echoed though the room. Flames burst to life around Yukio. The two men dropped him and ran. Rin walked towards his brother. Everyone raised their guns. Rin never took his eyes off his brother. There gun turned red hot in there hands. Burning them, bullets exploding from the heat. Holy water grenades exploding at boiling temperature. In the chaos, Rin knelt by his brother, united him. Rin turned Yukio's face toward him. He touched his cheek, wrapped him in blue flames and healed him. Yukio grabbed Rins shirt, tear running down his face. "Rin is that really you?" "Sorry I'm late four eyes." "This isn’t funny, I thought you were dead." Rin gave him a soft smile. "Everything is going to be ok.” Rin broke the metal collar from around his neck. Blue flames covered Yukio body. Rin took his hand. “give me your flames little brother.” like a siphon, fire traveled up Yukio's arm into Rin. In a moment it was over. Yukio took in a deep breath. “I love you, Yukio. I need you to trust me. I will save Assiah.” Rin pulled him into a hug. “Maphisto, get him out of here.” Rin commanded. “Of course.” Maphisto snapped his fingers and they were gone.
Rin stood up. The room around him was filled with screams, blood, and death. Rin took a moment to look at his friends. They looked at him with pure horror in their eyes. Nee had done his job. It cost him his life, but his friends were alive. One day they may understand why it is so important to save Yukio and Amaimon. He didn't have time to worry about that now. Angel and four out of five members of the council made it through unharmed. Rin spoke “do you fear me now? We could have changed the world together. I see now that it was a child's dream. You were never going to give me my freedom. It's something I must take. I will create a world where you don't have  to fear the monsters."
“Lier. I'll kill you myself!” Angel screamed. He charged forward. He raised his sword and swung it down. Rin brought his hands up and  caught it with both hands. “This is a beautiful sword. You do not deserve it.” Blue flame veins ran up the blade. It shattered like glass. Rin grabbed him by his throat. He put his other hand on his heart. Angel looked into eyes of solid blue flames. They drew him in. Instead of fear, he felt calm. Rins voice was sad as he spoke “you have been tainted by demons. It has caused you nothing but hate, fear, and grief. I will free you of it.” Rin pushed his flames through his heart. Then, he released him. He dropped to the floor. “What have you done to him?” one of the council members asked. Rin answered “I gave him a gift. He is at peace. His mind has been freed. He will never know that demons exist again.” “impossible!” He responded. Rin ignored him. “I'm going to get Amiamon now.”
