CHAPTER 20♡

Arya and Shreyansh walked downstairs, their hearts still heavy with emotions. They saw their parents, Soumya and Abhinash, waiting for them in the living room. Abhinash's serious expression made them nervous.

"Arya, Shreyansh, we need to talk about something important," Abhinash said, his voice firm but gentle.

Arya and Shreyansh exchanged anxious glances, wondering what this was about. Their minds raced with possibilities, but nothing could have prepared them for what came next.

"Shreyansh, did you force Arya to marry you?" Abhinash asked, his eyes piercing and intense.

Arya's eyes widened in shock, and Shreyansh's face turned pale. They both looked at each other, then back at their parents, unsure of how to respond. The room fell silent, the tension palpable.

Abhinash's serious tone made Arya and Shreyansh even more nervous. "Shreyansh, did you force Arya to marry you?" he asked again, his eyes piercing

Shreyansh replied with a simple "yes", confirming his father's question.Thinking that the truth won't stay hidden for long

Abhinash and Soumya exchanged concerned glances. "Why did you force her, Shreyansh?" Abhinash asked, his tone firm but worried. "Didn't you both love each other?"

Soumya added, "And what were you fighting about yesterday? Why did you say you regretted marrying Arya?"

Shreyansh's eyes dropped, hearing his mother words He felt a pain in his heart remembering the words he had said to Arya. He looked at Arya whose face clearly showed silence and pain.

"We are asking something Shreyansh " Abhinash asked

"Answer our questions and that too truthfully, don't even dare to lie " Soumya said in serious tone

Shreyansh voice barely audible. "It's complicated, papa. We...we have a lot of issues."

"What is the issue between you guys? Tell us."
Because of which you force her to marry you and now you are telling her that you regret marrying her, what kind of madness is this?" Abhinash asked in little anger

Shreyansh was just standing there silently, not saying anything. Arya realized that it was best to truth come clean now rather than wait for the truth to come out later. She knew she had to confess what she did to Shreyansh. She had misjudged him because of her father's death, but in reality, her father was a monster who deserved to die. Shreyansh did kill him, but it was justified as her father was a criminal who had caused harm to many people.

Arya's eyes locked onto Soumya and Abhinash, her voice trembling. "Maa, Papa, I need to tell you something. " that will answer all your questions

Shreyansh's eyes narrowed, his face red with anger. "Arya, don't," he warned, knowing now she is going to tell truth but she stood her ground.

Soumya's eyes filled with concern. "What is it, beta? What's wrong?"

Arya's tears fell like rain, her voice cracking.
"Shreyansh killed my father, who was actually a criminal. He did wrong things and deserved to die. Shreyansh did the right thing, but I misunderstood him at first because I didn't know the truth about my father. I even tried to kill Shreyansh and pretended to be in love with him," she explained tearfully, feeling the weight of everyone's gaze on her, especially Shreyansh's angry look and the shocked expressions of Saumya and Abhinash.

"Soumya asked in a trembling voice, 'You tried to kill my son?'

Abhinash's face turned pale, his eyes wide
with shock. "What? Arya, how could you?"

Arya's pain-filled eyes met theirs. "I was blinded by anger and hurt , revange."I didn't know who my father really was. The gentle face I saw hid a dark man who did lots of bad things. I can't even think about it all " she said with a shaky voice.
