Yuvan and Ashvi sat in the car, Yuvan driving as they headed towards Ashvi's house. Despite her initial insistence on going home alone, she couldn't resist Vihaan, Shreyansh, and Yuvan's persistence. Now, with Shreyansh, Trisha, Vihaan, and Arya already gone, Yuvan was dropping her off.

"It looks like it's going to rain; the weather looks bad," Ashvi said, gazing out the window.

"Yes, it does," Yuvan agreed. "It'll probably rain soon."

They soon arrived at Ashvi's house, and Yuvan pulled up in front. Ashvi stepped out of the car and smiled at Yuvan, making his heart skip a beat.

"Bye, drive carefully," she said.

"I...I will," Yuvan stuttered, his mind racing. Deep down, he longed to stay with her, to savor every moment of her radiant smile.

"Please, God, do something," he silently pleaded. "I don't want to leave her. I want to spend every second with her."

Ashvi's gentle voice broke his reverie. "Good night."

"Good night," Yuvan murmured, his gaze lingering on Ashvi's smiling face. As he turned the key in the ignition, the car's silence surprised him. "What's wrong now?" he muttered, trying again, but the engine remained still.

Ashvi's confusion mirrored his own as she asked, "What happened?"

Yuvan shook his head. "No idea. Maybe engine trouble." He stepped out of the car, popping the hood to investigate.

Ashvi drew closer, her curiosity piqued. "Do you need help?"

Yuvan's hands moved deftly as he checked the engine. "Ah, no...I think I see the problem." His voice trailed off as he spotted the issue.

"A pipe's burst," he announced, his brow furrowed in concern. "Oil's leaking out." He pointed to the damaged pipe, and Ashvi leaned in, her face inches from his.

As they stood side by side, the proximity sparked a flutter in Yuvan's chest. Ashvi's nearness, combined with the faint scent of her perfume, left him breathless.

"I'll need to get it fixed," Yuvan said, his voice low and husky, his eyes drifting to Ashvi's.

The darkness gathered around them, the only sound the distant rumble of thunder, hinting at the impending storm.

Ashvi's brow furrowed in concern. "What to do now?" she muttered.

Yuvan's lips curled into a sly smile, as if thanking fate for the unexpected twist. "Now it's already late in the night, there's no mechanic to be found, and the weather's also bad, so maybe I can't even ask for another car..." He murmured this with fake sadness, his eyes sparkling with amusement.

Ashvi's expression softened, her voice laced with empathy. "If you want, you can stay here tonight."

Yuvan's gaze lingered on hers, his face a mask of reluctance. "No...no, it's okay, I'll manage."

As he checked the car, his eyes gleamed with hope, willing her to ask again.

But Ashvi's simple response, "As your wish," left him disappointed.

His voice dropped to a slow, husky whisper. "Aare yaar, ask me one more time, you ask one more time, I will definitely stop."

Just then, the sky unleashed a torrential downpour, and strong winds began to blow.

Ashvi wrapped her dupatta around her, shielding herself from the rain. "Oh no, the weather is always bad," she murmured.

The rain pounded against them, creating an intimate, secluded atmosphere.
