A gathering of families, including Abinash, Neha, Trisha, Arya, Yuvaan, and Ashvi, assembled in anticipation. Abhinash's silence was palpable as Neha questioned him, her curiosity evident, "What is the reason for calling us here, uncle?"
Abinash responded calmly, his voice measured,
"Let the remaining people arrive first before I explain." The group waited, their chatter subdued, as footsteps approached.
Vihaan and Kunal entered, Kunal's smile faltering as Neha's indifference struck him. "Why is she acting this way?" he wondered, perplexed.
"I haven't done anything wrong today. Is she upset with me?" His thoughts drifted to their morning encounter.
"I simply stopped her from having ice cream due to her cold. Sometimes seeing her actions and anger, it seems as if I have married a little girl." He murmured, unaware of Vihaan's attention.
Vihaan chuckled, amusement dancing in his eyes. "Feel free to laugh as much as you like," he teased. "However, be aware that when Trisha causes trouble for you, I will also tease you and enjoy it immensely." He playfully tapped his leg, his bond with Kunal evident.
As they joined the group, Vihaan inquired, "What's the matter?" Trisha shook her head, her expression puzzled. "I have no idea." Kunal sat beside Neha, who shifted away, creating distance. Undeterred, Kunal gently grasped her hand, his touch warm. "I need to talk to you about something important. Please come with me." Neha's resistance was palpable. "I don't want to talk to you." She freed her hand from his grasp.
Kunal's tone turned persuasive. "This is related to hospital work, please just listen once." Neha's resolve wavered, and she agreed to accompany him. They rose, their departure subtle, and headed towards the garden behind the house. "Tell me quickly," Neha urged, avoiding eye contact, her voice laced with wariness.
" I am observing " Kunal said pulling her closer
Neha's eyes sparkled with mischief as she wrapped her hands around Kunal's neck, her touch sending shivers down his spine. "What are you observing?" she teased, her voice husky. Kunal's gaze drifted, caught in the depths of her eyes.
" Nowadays you've started to get annoyed easily, aren't you getting too angry?" Kunal asked
Kunal's expression turned sheepish. Neha's smile widened. "Did yesterday, and will do every day," she whispered, her breath dancing across his skin.
"This is not fair," Kunal protested, his tone laced with fake anger.
Neha's laughter echoed, her eyes glinting. "It's my choice, getting angry, annoying you, and making you agree to my decisions." Her fingers traced his jawline.
"You like to get mad at me without reason, don't you?" Kunal asked, his voice low.
Neha's smile turned sly. "I just love to do it." She pinched his cheeks.
"I will get mad at you," Kunal warned, removing his hands from her waist.
Neha's eyes sparkled. "Do you have the guts?" She wrapped his hands back around her waist.
Kunal chuckled, his childish tone echoing. "But it's not fair."
"Whom do I belong to?" Neha teased.
"Of course, me, who else?" Kunal replied.
