As the first light of dawn crept into the hospital room, Arya lay awake, her gaze fixed on Shreyansh's peaceful face. His head rested gently on the bed beside her, his chest rising and falling with each steady breath. She didn't want to disturb him, fearing that her slightest movement would shatter the serenity of the moment. With a mix of emotions swirling inside her, Arya felt lost, unsure of where life was taking her. She silently prayed to God, pleading for Vivek's swift capture, so she could escape the chaos and start anew.
As she gazed at Shreyansh, her heart ached with the realization that she would have to leave him and his family behind. She knew it was impossible to forget the love they shared, but she understood that her presence would only bring them pain. With a heavy heart, she accepted that her departure was necessary for their happiness.
Arya's thoughts were interrupted by the soft creak of the door as a nurse entered the room. The sound stirred Shreyansh, who slowly sat up, rubbing his face to shake off the sleep. "Good morning," the nurse chimed, her voice gentle. Arya and Shreyansh responded with soft, polite whispers.
The nurse approached Arya's bedside, her eyes filled with compassion. "How are you feeling now?" she asked, her voice low and soothing. Arya's response was barely audible, a gentle whisper of "much better." The nurse nodded, her expression warm, as she began to remove the old bandages from Arya's wounds, revealing the tender skin beneath. With gentle hands, she applied new bandages, her touch comforting. The nurse also removed the wires attached to Arya's hand, freeing her from the tangled mess. Arya's eyes never left Shreyansh's face, her gaze drinking in the sight of him, memorizing every feature...
"" Arya's gaze lingered on Shreyansh's half-asleep face, her thoughts consumed by his captivating attractiveness. She couldn't help but wonder if his allure would ultimately lead to her downfall. "Stop thinking like this, Arya," she scolded herself. "You'll be leaving him soon." She forced her eyes away, attempting to break the spell.
The nurse's voice broke the silence, "Do you want to use the washroom?" Arya nodded, and the nurse offered assistance. But before she could help, Shreyansh's voice intervened, "No need, I'll help my wife myself." The nurse retreated, and Arya's breath caught in her throat as Shreyansh scooped her up in his arms, cradling her like a child.
Arya wanted to protest, but her voice failed her. She remained silent, her heart racing, as Shreyansh carried her towards the bathroom. His gentle touch and comforting embrace. She couldn't deny the flutter in her chest, nor the sense of safety she felt in his arms.
As the nurse's footsteps faded away, Shreyansh gently turned Arya towards the toilet, his hands on her waist guiding her. Arya's face burned with embarrassment, but she couldn't deny the relief she felt at his assistance. Her body still weak from the ordeal, she needed his support.
Shreyansh helped her sit down, his movements tender and careful. He then stood beside her, his eyes averted, giving her a semblance of privacy. Arya felt a mix of gratitude and mortification as she realized her dependence on him.
Once she finished, Shreyansh helped her up, his hands under her elbows, lifting her with ease. He then assisted her with washing her hands, his fingers intertwining with hers under the running water. The touch sent shivers down her spine, and Arya knew she had to pull away, but her body seemed rooted to the spot.
