My dark dreams

Chapter VIII

I ran as fast as I possibly could, grabbed the bar and jumped in. I quickly closed the door and was finally relieved that I could rest for now. I sat near the window. There was no one on the train so I was on my guard to make sure that I didn't get attacked. I checked around and didn't see anything.  As I settled down in my seat, I gazed out the window and was greeted by a spine-chilling sight - a mysterious creature lurking outside. It had long, tangled strands of black hair that covered most of its face, making it difficult to see its features. The creature's eyes were obscured by blood, and I couldn't shake off the feeling of unease that washed over me. The sight sent shivers down my spine, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of impending doom. As I stepped back, I could feel my heart pounding against my chest, skipping a beat or two. My breaths became shallow and laboured, and I had to consciously remind myself to inhale and exhale. The situation was incredibly overwhelming and I couldn't help but feel a sense of panic and fear wash over me. Suddenly I started hearing footsteps so I hid under my seat.  I calmed myself while hiding there quietly. A towering, pitch-black creature scanned its surroundings with keen eyes but found nothing of interest before left, I got up and started looking for a way to get off the train. Out of nowhere, the same terrifying creature that I had encountered earlier caught a glimpse of me and began to pursue me relentlessly. I frantically sprinted through each compartment of the area, trying to escape its grasp. My mind was in a state of confusion and fear as I couldn't comprehend how it had suddenly reappeared after disappearing earlier. I was left with no other choice but to run towards the end of the area, not knowing what else to do. As I approached the edge, I peered down at the river below, and without a second thought, made the impulsive decision to jump into it as a means of escape from the creature. Suddenly the water around me started turning red, and I fainted in the water. I felt something or someone pulling me up the shore but my vision was blurry so I couldn't see properly. It felt so cold when I was out of the water and a few minutes later it started feeling warm. I feel it made me relax for a few minutes. And then I woke up. I turned around to be near a forest again. Next to me, I found a piece of paper on which it was written Be careful on your journey. I kept the paper in my pocket and started walking. A few minutes in I found myself in a plains area. To my surprise it was beautiful?! In the distance, I saw a glowing portal. " Yes, This could be it, I can finally escape this nightmare now.... "
