All these years

Afresh

I left without turning back because if I did I would be a disgrace.
I know my sister and mum maybe crying their eye out right now ,but I did not find it in me to care anymore I was tired .
What would they think about me,would they accept me as I am if I come back home or put me in a juvenile home for weird and bad teens(kids) ,they would probably put me in a Psychiatric ward for correction because they don't even understand me and they don't know what I am going through.
I really don't know where I am now ,this place doesn't look familiar to me .

I am definitely lost ,it's better than going back home I try to encourage myself ,I can't go back there I kept on chanting ,my throat was burning from being thirsty.
I have not come across any mini mart as I walked, I decided to stop and rest for a while .I closed and open it . " for fuck sake when did it get so dark . I stood up dusted my back side with the scarf I tied around my neck. " ok let go" I muttered and went along .

I sighed and continued my journey , I kept on walking till I came across a motel it was shabby with the paint falling off and the lights were flickering like it was a  hunted house. The signboard lights were off so I could not make out the name not that it matters .

I decided to stop and rest because my legs screamed with exhaustion. I walked towards the entrance and found it empty .
"Hello " I called out for anybody to hear .
"Hellooooo someone should answer me Jesus " I shouted this time . A young girl around my age ran out from the door against the wall to my right and started apologizing with her head bowed down .
She went to the counter and made herself comfortable before looking at me , she looks like she was just beaten to a pulp and was recovering from an accident , any other person should have been deceived but I know that mark I did to myself alot of times .
"How may I help you " she said her voice was like a whisper , "umm I would like to pay for a room " I said .
" How many nights do you plan on staying " she question and focused her hand on the counter while playing with her finger's.
I was starting to get irritated," two nights " I answered .
I made the payment she gave me the keys to my room , I was about to go when I turned around and walked towards her ,she stop and started shaking like a leaf .
I put my hand on her shoulder and gave her a twenty dollar bill to at least buy something and eat she looked like she was about to fall and die .
I was not about to be in a death scene .

I sighed for the hundredth time and made my way to my room ,I opened the door and nearly screamed . " who the fuck are you " I asked the guy laying comfortable on my bed , did she give me a wrong key but it was locked ,how did he get here, is a thief or a kidnapped who uses young girls to make money ?
All these questions ran through my head and I immediately spread my legs to stand in a fighting stance .

" No need to get all worked up pretty I am not here to do anything harmful to you unless you want me to " he smile and made his way towards me .
"Why would I want anything to do with you " I scoffed I was already getting irritated.
He shrugged and wanted to pass when I punched him but missed so I only grazed his face .
"You are a feisty little thing huh" he laughed and went back inside the room with his hands raised in the air .
" I payed for this room ok as you can see there are two beds ,someone was staying here before they left ok ,do you understand how ?" He said with his hands up in the air .
Then I decided to look around the room and found out he was telling the truth, shit silly me I guess hehe.
I looked around one more time and unclenched my fist ,carried my bag and entered the room fully so I can close the door .
I looked at the stupid boy and wow boy is a Greek god he probably fell and lost his brain I can assume that much , he face was that of perfection ,his pointed nose just like mine siren eye and a full lip tempting  then I made the mistake to look at his eye ,he was already  looking at me with a sly smirk .
His eye was a reflection of my own a light brown that looks gold when under the sun .

I looked away and started breathing  fast ,the last time I looked at myself in a mirror I was dying ,I quickly made myself comfortable in the bed that his thing were not scattered on .

I laid down and was about to sleep when his annoying voice reached my ear.
" So what brought you here , you don't look like you are from this area " he said tilting his head like a curious cat.
To be honest he has a pretty face and all that but he is so dumb and irritating,God I want to stab him .
I decided to ignore him but he did not take the hint and kept on talking .
"My name is Micheal nice to meet you , it seem like I will call you feisty because girl you almost ruined my face " he said and gave a playful glare .
"You maybe uncomfortable sharing a room with a complete stranger but trust me you soon ease up to me everybody do pretty " he said and gave a blinding smile .

" Has anybody told you that you have a big mouth ,and you should learn when to close it because not everybody wants to be friends with you ,get the hint Micheal " I said with a sarcastic tone then I turned around and faced the wall .

I am pretty sure his mouth is as wild as fish right now ,that thought brought a little smile on my face .
I heard the door open and close softly I looked back I found his bed empty .
"Thank God " I muttered and drifted off to a dreamless night

I know I have not been active for a while now I was discouraged and also hit writers block 🙂
The lack of support and low audience was disappointing ngl.
But I decided to update twice a week until I reach my goal .
