Smurfs The Prophecy of Hope

Chapter 1 The Beginning

Papa Smurf(voice): This story begins when things are starting to change forever.

Smurfette held a newborn baby girl and Hefty by her side, laying his eyes on his beautiful daughter, who looked like her mother but had raven black hair with blond roots. All the Smurfs gather around at Hefty and Smurfette.

Papa Smurf (voice): A baby girl was born when the blue moon was full. Blessed by Smurfette and Hefty, and they name her Hope.

"Morning"

Papa Smurf (voice): The day Hope came to the world was very special, and everyone in the village is happy that she is finally here.

Papa Smurf (voice): But one day, Gargamel found his way into the village and stole Hope and took her to his lair to take her life away from all of us. But we stopped him, and I used a powerful spell that banished Gargamel to prevent him from returning to finish the job.

Papa Smurf (voice): Even though he was gone, he would do anything to have revenge when he returned.

"Years Later"

Papa Smurf (voice): After years went by, Hope became a full-grown Smurf and did what she could to help every Smurf that needed assistance.

Hope went to Handy's workshop and gave him and his sons Inventor and Hunter a hand.

Handy: Thanks for your help, Hope.

Hope: No problem. See you guys later.

Inventor and Hunter: See you later, Hope.

Then Hope went to see Grouchy, who always. says he doesn't like anything but loves to see her when she comes by. Then, he smiled at her because he still cared about her when she was born.

Grouchy: Hey Hope.

Hope: Hi Uncle Grouchy.

She looks calm whenever all the smurfs around her get to see that she is special to them.

Papa Smurf (voice): When all my little Smurf see how much Hope has grown, there was something bothering her that she worries about what kind of Smurf she will become. And she keeps wondering if she ever find who she wants to be.

Hope sighs as she looks at herself at the river. When Papa Smurf sees Hope looking at herself and wondering, he goes to try to talk.

Papa Smurf: is everything OK?

Hope: Huh, oh hey Papa, sorry I was just...

Papa Smurf: Figuring out what kind of Smurf you be.

Hope: Yeah... but I just wanted to be something that makes me feel smurfy and help everyone I care about.

Papa Smurf: I know how you feel. Everyone sees something no smurf can see: what makes you who you are. But this will be your time to become the next leader to take mine and Willow's place because it will be our time to give it to you.

Hope felt surprised that Papa Smurf wanted her to become the new leader. But she felt this was not what she had in mind if she wanted to do it.

Hope: Me, the leader of the village? But Papa, I can't take yours and Willow's place. Why me? A leader has to be wise and solve many problems that are going on. I am not so sure that I can do this task.

Papa Smurf: Not always Hope. But  Willow and I knew that your purpose is something bigger that changes everything. What makes you so unique to every Smurf.  You have what it takes to be a true leader with passion, courage, and loyalty. That is what makes Smurf a natural leader.

Papa Smurf's words made Hope think it was a decision she had to make, but she didn't know she was ready.

Hope:  Wow, Papa, I uh...... uh..... don't know if this what I want to do. I just..... uhhhh.

Without thinking about what she wanted to say, Hope felt unsure and stood up and looked at Papa Smurf worriedly.

Hope: I think I need time to think I am ready. But I have to have little time for myself outside of the village.

Before she leaves, Papa Smurf knows she needs a little more time for herself and knows what he will say.

Papa Smurf: Hope. Sign when the time comes, you will know that you are ready.

Hope left the village for a bit, and Papa Smurf smiled at her when she was getting ready to go.
